Stopped by Café Lotus for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken curry was rich, flavorful, and made with organic ingredients — a comforting and wholesome dish that really stood out.

Vegan options clearly marked and they advertise their options. Cute interior and they had friendly service. Well located near Fairfax downtown and next to some cool thrift shops. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-01

Having eaten so much great Indian food in the Bay Area, I can confidently say Fairfax is lucky to have Café Lotus. It’s truly a wonderful Indian restaurant. They even hooked me up with free onion naan, and they have momos! What’s not to love?
