I have to say their meat dishes are fantastic, they're pasta dishes are fantastic. It is worth checking out. I think one of the nice Parts about the place it's not pretentious! It has a very casual mellow atmosphere.

I was unexpectedly invited to dinner at this restaurant yesterday. The ambiance is warm & convivial- casual yet with the type of attentive service that I've only seen at much more formal (and pricier!) establishments. I have a number of food sensitivities/allergies and dining out can be very challenging but this place had MANY items that I could eat. I've never been to Italy but this struck me as very authentic cuisine- high quality fresh ingredients prepared perfectly and presented beautifully. I had the asparagus salad with grilled chicken added, and prior to the food I had a Macchiato which was also perfect. I tried some of my friends' polenta crepe, also divine. We arrived a bit after 5pm on a Saturday and were seated immediately, just ahead of the evening rush. This was my first visit to Fairfax and I will definitely come back!

Dinner on a Sunday evening. First time here. I immediately liked the vibe of the place. A rustic Italian feel with old photos and other Italian related stuff that gave it a nice cozy feel. I had the lemon pasta with poached salmon. It was pretty good. My daughters also had pasta dishes with a red sauce and were pleased with their meals. Service was pretty good. We left feeling very stuffed. I would definitely go back. I'd say Fradelizio's rates pretty well in my experience with Italian food.

The food was great, 10 out of 10.We ordered New York style steak, friend calamari, kids spaghetti with meatballs ball and salad. The service was ok, I loved the fact they brought the kid's food early so our kids did not eat bread and butter for dinner ?We will definitely go back ?Kid-friendliness: They serve kids food before adults, I LOVE it so much!!!!

Fradelizio's is a fabulous traditional Italian-American restaurant in the heart of downtown Fairfax. They source fresh, local ingredients and create delicious dishes that remind you of what your grandma would have prepared for you-- with love. Their salmon with Meyer lemon pasta is my go to favorite. Their wine from the barrel program allows you to drink solid, well-made Napa wines at a fraction of the price.

If Paul is your waiter you are in luck. We split the yummy Caesar Salad and fresh lemon pasta with wild salmon and of course some wine! Don't miss the ice cream sundae for desert - it's the BEST!

Stopped in with my little cousin on a Saturday night, after a visit to W. Marin. I had placed my name on the list at a different Italian place up the hill, and took a walk in the chill evening. I had only ever been to Fradelizio's once, a long time ago, early in the day, and it wasn't memorable. But THIS time, we walked in, were immediately seated at a cozy little table, server brought out water (of our choice) immediately, told us of the specials, and had an appetizer on the table in short order. One of us had the brick chicken, which was nice. The other, the Meyer lemon fetuccine with a butter/cream sauce. I am a pasta snob. I've made it, traveled all over Italy and have had plenty of homemade pasta. Theirs was, hands down, the B E S T pasta I have eaten in years. Their bread was warm, out of the oven, with a crunch to the crust (so much BETTER than in Italy haha- don't eat the bread if you go to Tuscany). One thing I wish they'd add - a nice panna cotta. Or maybe even some little biscotti... maybe some pignoli. Yes... that would be the sprinkles on top of the icing on the cake. :) Loved it. Will return. Epecially appreciated the parking sitch, roomy space, and excellent service. And the clean bathroom.

A last minute decision on New Years Day at 5pm. They were full but a 15 minute wait and we had a great table--surprisingly quiet, away from the front door breeze, and good people watching ojut the window when we weren't busy talking and eating. Half Brick Chicken was perfectly cooked, moist and full of flavor with nice fresh vegetables. My Cioppino was perfect. Lots of different kinds of seafood in a wonderful red sauce and two slices of garlic bread. The other couple shared calamari (we tasted them--great) and three other starters. The sour dough bread was dangerously good.Service was friendly, helpful and fast but they never pushed us.We will go back.

A true family vibe here. Great for a casual bowl of soup (don't miss the creamy New England clam chowder) to warm your bones after a chilly day.Ambiance equally fits the bill for a boistrous celebration or a romantic meal. Well trained long-term staff is friendly and attentive without being disruptive to your conversation. For you wine lovers, their house wines fresh from the barrel are a treat you don't want to miss. The warm authentic Italian sourdough from local famous bakery (obviously using a gorgeous well-fed and aged starter) is often what sparks my desire to go in and see what they have on special for me to sop up with the crust. If you can manage to finish the generous portions, you'll clean your plate with this delicious bread. If not, you'll have a terrific lunch tomorrow. If you're nearby and have not visited Fradelizio's, get yourself correct! You'll thank me later.

Great food, neighborhood atmosphere, and friendly service. I've never had a bad meal here, the pepper steak, the seafood pasta, the pork chop, the sauté calamari, are all outstanding. They also have fantastic salads. The organic heirloom tomato and avocado salad, the grilled asparagus salad, the Caesar, all outstanding. You can't go wrong here.
