Classic example of new owners coming in and killing everything about what made the brand special in the first place. What was once a beloved deli is now a soulless, overpriced, lousy deli.

I got a smoothie. Nothing to write home about, but it got the job done.

Self Efficient

Everyone who gave 5 stars has clearly never been to Perry”s caus this place turned from a cozy welcoming environment to a UFO spaceship with no care of people’s health requirements. Wouldn’t be surprised if I told them I was vegan and they gave me steak. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome. I feel maybe I’m insane for coming back and hoping it will get better. I Wouldn’t be surprised if the workers had no food handler’s certificate. Now that the restaurant next door changed Perry’s into “salt and pepper” they never get my order right. if they do, they forget half the ingredients. I’ve taken food home and have had to remake the whole thing with stuff from my fridge (either they don’t understand English or they want to poison me). the color changes and vibes are all gloomy and I feel depressed walking inside now (my family feels the same) It went from a wholesome place to a fast food restaurant (even McDonald’s is starting to look better). I’ve tried this place out quite a few times and I feel maybe I’m insane for hoping it will get better. Seriously, one time I asked for a chicken sandwich (game day) and they put fish in the sandwich instead of chicken, also no thousand island sauce and really small strips of bacon. Fish Could’ve been a health risk (luckily was not) I give up hoping it will get better caus this last visit (same one of the photo)there were containers of radish sprouts that looked so spoiled in a case by the drinks. I was going to say something but just left instead, because I know those workers don’t care about anyone’s health clearly. Also the workers make me feel judged compared to when this place was called Perry’s. It originally felt like my home and I was friends with everyone, now it feels like a haunted house (not the fun kind). I now understand why my parents get so bummed when they visit their hometown and it’s been gentrified.

Vegetarian options: Not worth it. Wouldn’t be surprised if I told them I was vegan and they gave me steak, that’s how much they do not care. Also their vegan options in the case looked spoiled and a health hazard last time I went.

Dietary restrictions: Don’t go to this place if you have food restrictions caus they get the order wrong every time, even if you give them clear instructions of what not to do.

For years, this establishment has been the best Deli in Marin. I have traveled the world bragging about how good it is.Unfortunately it has undergoing a change in ownership and operation, and I'm sorry to report, it has been completely ruined. The staff are friendly and the dining area is much cleaner, but the food has become a pathetic shadow of it's former glory. I am heartbroken by the downgrade in quality deli offering now.The greatest deli in the world has been replaced bya mediocre one.I tried it when they first opened, and I was disappointed then, but I figured I would give them one more try today.2 stars, one for the staff, and one for the cleanliness, but 0 for the sandwich

Only went to Perry's once, wasn't great. Glad this place got a fresh face. Ordered a tuna melt- absolutely delicious! Excited to have a really good sandwich spot in Fairfax!! Super nice staff too!

I went in to get a Game Day,and i was unfortunately disappointed. The original Perry's sandwich was bigger, tasted better and overall way more enjoyable. Now it feels like I'm sitting in a classroom eating a dry sandwich. I was hoping with the ownership change, all of the menu items we had before would be cherished and preserved. Their biggest issue is their portion sizes and their overall quality of food. Please fix this ASAP.

The first time I came here I was very disappointed in the serving size, I tested their loyalty towards their customers by seeing if they actually add more meat when you pay extra for it. I have ordered normally and with double meat multiple times and been very disappointed all times, if I ASK for double meat, and PAY for double meat, then I WANT double meat

All you old Perry’s fans are a bunch of whiny blowhards, the sandwiches here are delicious. The spicy chicken ranch is much, much better than the old Perry’s one.

food: had the hot pastrami, it was spot on. simple, solid ratio of meat to cheese to bread.ambiance & staff: clean, friendly, promptmisc: price is on point, reasonably priced for a reasonable portion.what to improve: needs wifi and to be open past 5 pm. even 6 would mean you could grab a sandwich for dinner after picking kids up from school.

Gigantic and delicious sandwiches. Friendly albeit somewhat slow service. Usually when we order at a Bay Area deli, they get the order wrong (usually they give us mayo when we ask them to leave it off). Miraculously they got our order totally correct.
