This is really more a bar with food, rather than a restaurant. The atmosphere is funny and lively with loud music playing. Seating is bar-like and spartan. Service was friendly and nice.
I thought the food was fair and, while generally not expensive, dishes were very small. The garlicy noodles was in a tiny bowl, that was just noodles, butter and garlic. Why so small? No idea.
Entrees are uninspired with a burger, fried chicken sandwich and scallops.

My guy Manny!!! Great bar tender, perfect cocktail, just the right amount of conversation and brings life to the entire bar. Would definitely recommend for taking the edge off after a long day of works hard.

Great food, great service, great drinks, great lighting, but the damn place is always freezing because they leave the front door open which kills the ambience. I realize it is easy for staff to get in and out with the door open, but you gotta be mindful of the inside customers

Had dinner at Stillwater and it did not disappoint! The seasonal menu is creative and everything felt fresh and flavorful. Tried the roasted vegetables and duck, both cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. The service was warm and attentive without being pushy. Cozy, modern vibe that makes it a great spot for a night out. Definitely adding this to my go-to list in Fairfax!

I am writing this in hopes that the restaurant leadership takes action. I love this restaurant and would like to, again, be a frequent patron. When I raised that the non alcoholic cocktail list has ingredients that contain alcohol in a phone call after dining, I was told they would reconcile this. They have not. This is dangerous and puts multiple types of imbibers at risk. Please do the ethical thing, Stillwater. Your community loves you- please love them back.

Easily one of the best restaurants in town. It's dimly lit and there's a great local vibe about. I guess I'll never not get nervous when an attractive lady sits next to me. I'm just happy that I didn't spill my drink. Maybe if she wasn't so attached to her phone I could have made eye contact. Great Chicken Sammy. The fries were a bit salty but the barkeeps were the bomb. Keep up the good works folks!

What a great local restaurant. Fairfax is lucky. Its a hip scene YET it also features great food and cocktails. If you watch, you see a really well run and happy crew at work. It can be a bit loud at times but it is vibrant and upbeat. Highly recommend!

I ordered the duck fries, they were good, I had never had duck fat fries before. I would have ordered an entrée instead, but I accidentally blew my budget. You see, my brother recommended that I get dinner there. I didn't have a lot of money, but I really wanted to try it. The issue I had was that I asked for a drink suggestion. Something like a cider. I was recommended an alcoholic grapefruit soda water. It sounded good. It was one of those that comes in a slim can. Later, I came to realise that said soda water was $16 dollars! I mean, yes, maybe I should have checked if I was that concerned. However, I was not expecting the soda water in a slim can to be $16. I didn't see it on the menu because it's listed as a spritz. It was too late by the time I realized it. It put a damper on the whole experience, and I felt stupid for accidentally ordering a $16 alcholic soda water. I would say that maybe the bartender should have pointed out the price or at least referred to it by its name, so I could have made the connection sooner. It just meant that I couldn't afford the entrée and got an appetizer instead.

It’s a nice vibe in here. We didn’t eat, but the food looked amazing. We did have the churros though which were really good. Margarita was great too. I just wish they had more wine options!

I dream about the fried chicken sandwich. All of the food is fresh and high quality, especially for the price. Cocktails rival the best bars in the Bay area. Hands down one of my favorite places to eat, drink and relax.
