I always have a great time, great drinks and great food at Stillwater but today I got their pork chops and holy shit was this dish unreal. The 2 thinly sliced and perfectly bone-in grilled pork chops were accompanied by delicious mashed/pureed turnips (I think), broccolini and delicious grilled pears. Expertly done and super seasonal. I devoured it! Thanks, Chefs and Stillwater team. This was an excellent fall evening meal. Xoxo

Food was pretty good but not great. Oysters just ok. Poke small for price and marinade was too salty. Pork chop interesting with peaches but not the best cooking for pork. overall price up with the top Marin tier but not as good as the others.

Great food, small portions, bland service. The seating and atmosphere are off the hook, im sure if the place was packed, it would be a cool spot for the young crowd. Be prepared to break bank.
One of the most memorable service experiences I've ever had.
I ate here for my friend's birthday a couple years ago. The waitress was kind and greeted us. The atmosphere was clean and friendly. Everything was going great until the food was brought to the table.
I had ordered the poke plate with wonton chips, but what was in front of me was poke with potato chips. I understand that these are similar, but part of why I chose that dish was for the flavor combo of the fish with the wontons. I'm not usually one to send back food, but I felt the dish was already a bit pricey for what it was so I spoke up. I let the server know that I was expecting wonton chips. Her response blew me away.
"I'm sorry I forgot to tell you that we are out of wonton chips, but I forgive myself. These potato chips are hand cut in-house."
I asked if I could get something else instead or at least a free appetizer but she denied my requests. I had to settle for a measly consolation of fries for the table at a 20% discount.
I've never witnessed a server blatantly deny a replacement for a mistake they made in my life. The 20% discount fries offer was laughable. I'll never forget this as the worst service experience I've ever had.

We had a great time here. It was a busy Saturday evening. We didn’t make reservations so we were glad to get standing room near the bar. We had heard the cocktails are great and they are. We started with the Alpine Sour and a non-alcoholic drink. Absolutely delicious. The bar tender Manny was excellent. Manny also made us a fantastic paper plane (not on the menu) and another cocktail.

When I lived in Fairfax, my husband & I, would come here weekly. We loved their peach salad (when it was in season) & most importantly their Chicken sandwich!!! I feel like their hours have reduced since 2020 making it harder for me to visit (I live in SF now) yet I won't knock off a star since it's such a GOOD spot. Lovely interior design too!

Stellar, super fun! Great service. Excellent food. Thoughtful wine selection with some burly natural wines. Cocktail tins were rattling away producing really solid, interesting drinks. First impressions matter, and they delivered! We will be regulars for sure.
***EDIT we sat at the bar tonight (01/15/23) & the bartender was AMAZING just cranking out excellent cocktails. Loving STILLWATER even more each time we go, keep it up BOOM!!! Only regret is that we should have eaten here instead of at Village Sake***
