Honestly the vibe here can’t be beat. If you like cozy tea temple vibes you’ll love this place. The vibes are friendly, artsy, and relaxed. There’s cushiony places to sit inside and wooden benches with string lights out back. The first time I came, it was an event night and it was PACKED. We felt lucky we found a seat to squeeze into. This second time was a non-event day, which felt much more spacious and peaceful. We had many seating options and chose to sit outside. I should note we came in a bit past 9pm. This place is open until 10pm and a fair amount of people were hanging out until the very end, though was not crowded. The service was warm and kind, offering us heavy blankets for outside and recommending favorite tea mixes. Perfect place for an intimate chat. I had the super charged maca stallion elixir and felt so revitalized by the combination of that warm drink and the peaceful atmosphere outside. The drink was very cacao forward and I liked that. My friend got the pine pollen elixir, which was more floral and light; kind of tasted like what you’d imagine a moonbeam to taste like. I still liked mine better because chocolate!
As a fun side note: My friend and I also made a bit of collaborative art together by dripping some of our elixirs onto paper, tilting it around, and taking turns adding some colorful accents. Highly recommend bringing some journal or art supplies here because when you’re feeling relaxed and peaceful, it’s a great time to engage with those mediums!

Super laidback vibe with very comfortable ambiance and seating, really friendly staff. They have nice backgammon boards, the patio is a good spot to play some games.
Recommend the homemade root beer and the labni/feta dip platter

Found some rare tea I used to drink when I was a child back in China. A must visit for a tea lover.

Elsa is super nice and the tea and food are delicious. It's a great date spot, but also a great spot to go alone and read a book or work on your laptop. They have movie nights, and other fun events, live music, belly dancing, etc.

Please note, my score reflects and includes my personal taste, punk rock over hippy new age. Add a star if you like this vibe. (edit: bumped up one star for fast and informative response)

Fast and attentive staff. Interesting mix of elixirs and teas. I had the schisandra lemonade. The drink itself was tasty, though a little one note, I have been known to chew on dried schisandra berries and was hoping that its 5 flavors would shine more in this drink. I think the drink could have used some salt, or more berries to balance the lemon flavor. I dinged one point because I used to work in the supplement industry and the vibes killed me a little, just a little, not my spot, but 5/5 for teas, 4/5 for elixir and 2/5 for vibe. I like hiking in the area, maybe I will go back and reevaluate when I am not exhausted.

I always enjoy my time at Wu Wei. The menu is super diverse and you can get anything from elixirs, herbal teas, traditional Chinese teas, small plates and more. The inside is super calming and nicely decorated and the staff is very nice. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking to have a nice get-together.

Wu Wei is a sanctuary! One where you can get work done, hang out with friends, or simply enjoy the vibes. All the teas and special drinks are worth trying. The staff is so nice. Love this place because they have a tea to support any mood. I wish they would open one in southern Marin or in the city.
