I usually love this local boba spot — their matcha strawberry and watermelon drinks are always on point! But I have to be honest… the avocado smoothie was a big letdown. It looked super bland, had no real avocado flavor, and even had pieces of avocado skin still in it. It didn’t taste fresh at all and felt rushed. I really hope they improve the recipe, because I know they can do better based on how amazing their other drinks are!

I was in the area and was looking for a quick lunch and I found Big Band Boba & Chicken. I believe it’s a fairly new place. When I first arrived there was no customers and no one at the front counter. There are a few tables if you want any to dine-in, but I chose take-out. They have an ordering kiosk or if you want order with someone, you can ring the bell and someone will come out to take your order. While I was waiting for my order there were quite a few people that came through.
I ordered the Korean Classic Fried Chicken, Soy Garlic Fried Chicken and the Popcorn Chicken. This trip, I did not order and drinks, so I cannot review the drinks. The chicken were still crispy as they should be, even after I brought it home in Vacaville. Flavor was mediocre as I have had better Korean Fried Chicken and elsewhere. They also sell a few other Korean snack items satisfy your hunger.
Overall, Big Bang Boba & Chicken is a decent place for some KFC (Korean Fried Chicken), Korean snack items and grabbing some Boba/Tea/Smoothie Drinks.

10/14/24 this had been the greatest place i stopped by. most chicken and boba joints hav their special stuff. the chicken was more than ordinary, i enjoyed the soy garlic flavor. pretty good. and wash it with milk tea drink is a plus. creme Brulee was good as well. nice little joint. i didnt know it was taking over the sushi place. i missed it but this is a good joint too

What are you thinking making a "Cheese corndog" made with fish?! It was so gross biting into what I thought was a hot dog and getting a mouthful of fish dog. Take it off the menu or relabel it "Cheese fishdog".
Beautiful shop, amazing prices for great quality food. They're playing good music too. We've decided we love this place.

I am very specific in the way that I like my boba! Gimme some decent Thai tea and some warm and soft boba balls and I am gonna give you a good review. This boba was so good! The Thai tea was sweet as well as the cream and then when I picked up the bottom of the cup my hand was warm! That is a good sign! That first sip was a good sign! The boba was so warm and soft and thats how I know I'm getting a good cup of tea! This place was fantastic! Try it for yourself!

First visit back when they first open, there was a hair in my drink and when I came back to tell them, they stared at me and just said “sorry”. After a couple minutes of awkward of silence, I asked if they can replaced my drink and they said stared blankly for a couple more minutes and said, “let me ask”.
Decided to come back a year later and they seem to have improved BUT then it happened again! I got another hair in my drink. This time I was already home so I didn’t complain to the workers but I’m very disappointed.
I read another 1 star review on here stating that someone also found a hair in their chicken. Simple solution to this is to have all workers wear hairnets or hats. Also, hire better employees with better customer service. Lastly, please turn on the AC! Don’t be cheap. & please buy small straws, I usually get drinks with no boba and there’s no point in drinking it with a boba straw. ??

Nice boba place. I enjoyed my drink. My friends were also satisfied with their drinks. The service is quite friendly and they have quite a nice choice of drinks. I will be back in the future to try a different drink flavor. They have seating here. I also quite like the name Big Bang Boba & Chicken, it's a nice name.
