Food is just perfect. Tortillas are soft and meat is tender and juicy. No complaints at all
The first time I came here I was by myself and ate/drank at the bar. Food was great and so was the strawberry mojito. I left satisfied. I decided to bring my family there another time since I had such a great experience the first time and least to say we were all disappointed. When we first got there it was 7 of us and we were expecting 2 more but they weren’t going to be there for another 50 minutes, but we were just gonna eat without them. The server said they can’t push any tables together unless we call in advance (there were several empty tables and almost the entire booth was empty.) I asked if we could just sit at separate tables at the booth without even pushing them together and the guy told us no which was very weird. Had we have come in all separate, we would have been able to sit there no issues, but we were told no because we were a group. It came off rude and snarky. When it came down to our food, it took a really long time for it to come out(15+ minutes) considering only 2 of us ordered an actual meal and one other person ordered nachos. The nachos came out without meat on it and they had to make another one. Also, they forgot to bring out someone’s horchata. Our server was a guy who also does drinks at the bar in addition to taking our orders. His overall attitude just seemed irritated that we were there and we already got off on the wrong foot when he wouldn’t even let us sit at separate tables at the booth. It all worked out though because by the time the last 2 party members arrived, we paid the bill and decided to go somewhere else. My family said they felt it was time for us to go because they didn’t feel welcome. I was really disappointed because I love this place’s mojitos and tacos; Although, the pricing is quite ridiculous. $15 for a mojito that barely gets you buzzed? $13 for 3 tacos and no side?!! Why is my beverage more than my actual food item and why are 4 tacos $13! Safe to say I don’t think I’ll be coming back with my family anytime soon. I also hate to think it, but I feel maybe there was some discrimination going on given that my family is african american, and I am a white passing girl and maybe thats why I was treated differently when I came alone. Really disappointed with the way our server made us feel.

This was our first time here. We're from out of state. We came here based on the reviews. First, the service was excellent. Top notch. The food was amazing! Best carnival I think I've ever had! The restaurant is small but cozy. Great drinks. Good music. Definitely will be back and recommend!!

This was our first time trying this spot. We were welcomed warmly into the restaurant. Our waitress had some great recommendations on what to try. The enchiladas and the street tacos were super filling and delicious. The only downside was a large party came and the noise level was overwhelming. We were happy that we were nearly done eating. Some acoustic dampening might help. Other than that, we will return!

Our family was returning from Dillon Beach & heading home to Citrus Heights tonight so we searched Mexican Restaurants in Fairfield, a half way destination, and Casa Agave near the Solano County Courthouse populated, so we stopped there to eat. The food was absolutely delicious, everything we ordered, from the Verde Enchiladas, Molcajete, Steak Fajitas, Cheesy Bean & Chorizo Dip, and Michelada‘s, was a 10+! The service was
also exceptional. I’ve been to my share of Mexican restaurants, and this one exceeded all of our expectations, the best tasting Mexican food we’ve eaten, hands down! I’m just sad because we live about 50 minutes away, but distance will not impact us, it’s that good that we will travel the distance I’m sure with our mouth watering….

Without a doubt the best tacos in Fairfield and a wide variety of cocktails and craft beer.
Between a 3 and 4. I leaned to 4 as the service was good and the place has potential. The bar is cozy. Food came out very fast and lukewarm. Tasted very good but really should be served hot. Especial margarita was well made. I will visit again.
