Why did I order the Molcajete??? Because the server told me it was really really good!!! Well she lied!!!!!! It wasn't good...it was freaking amazing!!!!!! You get a really good portion so it's shareable if you have your boo with you and you're feeling extra sweet. Otherwise, you'll want to keep it to yourself and take your leftovers home for later. The owners should put a star next to this dish in the menu with a warning "Do not order this unless you live nearby and can come back to eat it again soon!" I'm only here visiting family for a few hours and then I'll be gone. I'm in my feelings 'cause I know I'm going to want to eat this dish again soon. All the different meats were seasoned perfectly and tender to ear and so delicious. It was my first time trying cactus! Not bad! A little tangy bite and complemented the dish well. The cheese was really good! The service and ambiance was great as well. Not a really big spot but big enough for families and possibly a large group if not crowded. I will definitely return if I'm in the area again. Until then...I'll be hunting for a similar dish to satisfy my taste buds #JamersonEATS

Large portions of super tasty food. The beans and rice tasted like they had their abuela cooking in the kitchen. Decent sized bar and the rum strawberry specialty drink was great. Space was clean and lively.

We came in and sat at the bar. The place is decorated nicely and very clean. We were greeted instantly and given menus. The girl working behind the bar was helping other tables as well, but she was on it! We got waters right away and then got our drinks and she made a few suggestions which was nice. I had the Paloma which was made with love and was probably the best Paloma I've ever had! The salsa that came with the chips was super good & flavorful! For food, I had the tampiquena (skirt steak, cheese enchilada and beans and rice) had a good portion of guacamole and fresh salsa. The grilled Serrano pepper packed some heat which I enjoyed as well! The food was authentic, fresh and super delicious with all kinds of flavors! One of my friends got the street tacos and she said they were delicious and the sauce that came with them was excellent! One of my other friends got the chile verde enchiladas that came with rice and beans as well. He really enjoyed them and said he can't wait to try the other enchiladas in the menu next time. Our waittress/bartender lady was very nice. Our food was fantastic. Our drinks were top notch! Definitely recommend this hidden gem in downtown Fairfield for quality, super fresh Mexican food!

Casa Agave is amazing! The food is delicious probably the best in Fairfield. If you go try the green enchiladas the sauce is homemade in house and so delicious. Staff is very friendly and attentive!

This place is a cozy, vibrant spot to grab dinner and a few drinks. I loved their bar area and the servers are pleasant. I have a few notes though. When they brought us over our napkins, utensils, chips and salsa, first I noticed two of our napkins were dirty? It had dried food on them and that was kind of gross. Chips were ok and salsa tasted like bland tomatoes. No flavor to it. Next, we ordered drinks. I had seen some Yelp reviews on here of people trying some jarritos cocktails, and I asked the server if that was something they did since I did not see it listed on the menu. He said it was something they could do. I asked for the guava flavored Jarrito and when he brought it over it looked good... but when I tried it I was so disappointed that it tasted like carbonated water. I couldn't taste the guava flavor and I didn't taste the alcohol in it, not even a little bit. For food, I ordered the chicken fajitas. It came with sides of refried beans, red rice, guacamole and pico de gallo. The sides were great and fajita sauce was tasty. Personally this dish was good and I would order it again. One thing I did notice is that since we got carried away talking the server was trying to pick up dishes to clear the table, when we weren't quite finished eating... I didn't really like that because they wouldn't really ask beforehand and when they did it was evident we still had our plates half full and were not done. Price wise it's reasonable, I went with 3 other people and our total bill was $148 split evenly it was about $37 per person. Overall the place is clean with a few crumbs and spills on their floors below the tables, they definitely should wash their napkins more thoroughly and maybe next time I will stick to a drink off their menu.

My new go-to taco spot in Fairfield. The asada here is perfection, and portions were very filling! Service was also refreshing as the waiter constantly checked up on us, which I think is very vital to the success of a restaurant. No sense in having great food if the service does not match. Will be back for more!!! P.S, the salsa here will kick your ass. I love spicy food but this salsa knocked me out. I call it a love-hate relationship, because I find myself dipping my chips for more.

Nice little restaurant with very friendly service. Salsa looked great but was so hot that we could not eat it. We had 3 street tacos with asada, carnitas and pastor. Carnitas was very dry with not much flavor. The other two were average at best. We also had an order of taquitos that was overcooked and exploded into a 100 pieces with the first bite.
