The cod fish and chips are absolutely deliciously hot and fresh. My mom got the tilapia fish and chips and it was just as crispy and deliciously tender inside. We got onion rings and fried mushrooms too - they were awesome. The owners are very kind and attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. I will be coming here again with my family. :)

I want to thank this business for hooking my husband and I up with a fantastic meal! I ordered the cod, which was above delicious, thick (not wimpy pieces), flaky and so tender. My husband had the catfish, perfectly fried, and he commented on how delicious it was as well! Nice thick French fries. Yummy coleslaw too. And never mind all the FAT PRAWNS that I didn’t expect also. Best yet, not even stingy with their sauces. Plenty, just the way I like it. Thank you again! We will come again ?

Ok, this fried chicken is amazing. The lady (owner/operator?) uses a tempura batter, which is light and crispy. Chicken sandwich was so hot it burnt me badly, but I couldn’t stop myself. The blisters in my mouth remind me of how good this stuff is. Go eat here…
My mother and I decided to try this place out on a whim for dinner, we ordered the Double Catch of Cod, it came with fries, coleslaw and fried broccoli as sides. The fries were nice and crispy along with the broccoli. The man and woman we talked to have great customer service and very nice. Restauraunt is worth a shot if you've been looking for fish in Fairfield ??

I was driving home from the gym and was hungry for just about anything. I do not regret this decision at all!! I walked in and was welcomed by smiling faces. The cashier was so sweet and very informative of the offerings. I was only expecting to order chicken wings. Then with the menu offering more than what I had initially wanted, I found myself wanting everything. This Woman-Owned business has an amazing selection of fried food with an Indian twist. I had to try!! I ended up ordering the Creamy Garlic Tilapia platter (Pictures Attached). I loved that the housemade batter was not overwhelming, but still so crispy and flavorful. The flavor of the batter did not overshadow the substance within the food at all. Nothing was overly done in flavor and no component of my platter was dry. Everything was seasoned very well. Everything is made fresh in house. I need to stumble back into this restaurant again soon!

My boss and I each got the 2-item fish & chips combo. We got the deep-fried cod and fries. I got hushpuppies and she got deep-fried zucchini. It was all very delicious! I loved my fish with the cocktail sauce. They gave me extra to go. Each piece of fish was huge! And we got lemon pepper chicken and coleslaw. Definitely need to come back and try other items! The customer service was great, too!

It's a fish place. So, I tried their fish and chips. The fries were so good! Seasoning was perfect, and the special sauce that looks like Thousand Island dressing is yummy. But, the fish lacks in flavor, and the breading is not the best. I hope that cod wasn't frozen. Their tartar sauce needs mustard. I'll try the fish tacos next.

This was my first time to Clove and I ordered the french fries and chicken tenders. The chicken tenders are high quality, the ranch and spicy sauces pair well. You definitely get a good amount for what you pay. The fries are good but I think they could do with a little bit more seasoning. The restaurant is a nice little hole in the wall mostly due to the side of town it's on. The owners are really nice and sweet people. They were nothing but kind when I put in my order! If you're a big fan of fried chicken I would definitely give this place a shot; especially if you like JJ's. This is a place I will definitely be visiting again and I recommend you give it a try!
