On a trip to CA for work. I found this place by driving around. If you are near Fairfield, CA, and want a really good old-fashioned hamburger, this is THE place. The lady that took my order was the daughter of Dave. I'm a sucker for nostalgia, and this place has it. I loved how everything was clean and up to date but still "ol' school" if you will. I ordered a single cheese burger, added bacon, and grilled onion. All burgers have lettuce, tomatoes, fresh onion, mayo, and mustard. And they are cooked to perfection. I ordered tots and added chili and cheese. And all I can say is Dang! So if you have NOT tried this place, get there asap!

i jus had the worst experience at dave cheeseburger. let me tell you, it was a disaster. i ordered my food and they servd me greese! yes, you heard that right, greese. and guess how much i paid? 72 dollar! for greese! the wait staff had the nerve to tell me it was high quality greese. are you kidding me? i don't care how high quality it is, it's still greese.and then the manager had the audacity to come out and explain that 'burger' is calofirnia slang for paper bag with greese. what kind of nonsense is that? i didn't come here to eat paper bags, i came for a burger. and let me tell you, this so-called 'burger' was not even a burger. it was just a paper bag filled with greese.i am beyond disappointed with my experience at dave cheeseburger. the fact that they think it's acceptable to serve customers greese and call it a burger is just absurd. i would give this place zero stars if i could.do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. unless you have a craving for paper bags filled with greese, then go ahead and waste your money at dave cheeseburger. otherwise, save yourself the trouble and find a real burger joint.this has been the worst dining experience of my life. never again will i step foot in this greese-serving establishment. one star, and that's being generous. avoid at all costs.Wheelchair accessibility: at dave cheeseburger there wheelchair accessibility was horrible. i couldn't even get through the door cause it was too narrow and i got stuck. then, when i finally made it inside, the employees were terrible. they kept making fun of my wheelchair and playing cheesy burgere pranks on me. it was so mean and unprofessional. and to top it off, the food was grease. i will never go back to dave cheeseburger again. 0/10 would not recommend.

Very small location that gets lots of customers during the lunch hour. You get to see your meal cooked right in front of you as you mesmerize over their large variety of shakes menu and smell the grilled onions getting a glaze before going on your burger of choice. You can get a regular burger, cheese burger or chilli cheeseburger. Some burgers are served open facet depending on what gets put on them. The grilled cheese is made on a round style of bread and their tots are cooked to a nice little crunch. Everything was just a perfect amount of portions and a good consistency on their shakes. Good spot to take the family or team for a good ole bite to eat.

First time eating here after friends kept telling us about their hamburgers. They have a simple menu. We ordered cheeseburgers with bacon and tots to go. There is some outdoor seating too if you wish to sit there and eat in the cooler months. Food was excellent. It's now going to be my go-to burger place.
