First timer here and oh my goodness! It was soo good I can’t wait to eat the leftovers later. Please, if you come order the cherry chicken! It is by far the best dish I have ever had at a Chinese restaurant!!! I will come here as often as possible because WOW I took the photos after we devoured it (we got cherry chicken, lemon chicken, chicken chow mein, and chicken fried rice) I’m so amazed by the food that I almost forgot the service was also amazing, so sweet and friendly and thorough, very welcoming and as I mentioned I will be back!

Only gave 1 star because I had too. They deserve zero stars. Since new ownership the food is horrible. Definitely would not recommend.
Order a pork fried rice and when I got it the pork did not look like pork it looks like a chicken they keep telling that was pork and when I got it replace the pork still looks like chicken and they charged me extra for lunch special I order beef broccoli and beef don’t even look like beef and also the food quality wasn’t good and the meet was salty and the rice looks old, I will never come to this place again is not good at all is the far worst Chinese food I ever had..

I had the cherry chicken and fried rice and it was great. I liked the recipes better actually than the old ownership.
Very flavorful, a little less greasy imo. Although under the previous ownership taste was great too.
Also customer service was great, so friendly and pleasant!

Recently business was sold and the new ownership has already proven they're not the same Frank and Yuens. On arrival staff was rude and unattettentive. When asked to combine tables for our party we were informed new ownership doesn't do that. This was something we've done for years since F&Y was a go to for family celebrations. The food portions were smaller and bland. None of our usual favorites tasted right. As a matter of fact everything had a slight vinegary taste. The overall experience was terrible. As someone who patronized F&Y for almost 30 years I can understand things change but sadly is has not been for the better. The family consensus was that we'd likely never return and just accept that the F&Y we knew is gone and we had some great times there. This might not be everyone's experience but it certainly was ours. Time to find a new place.

Under new management and people. The service suck. We did not get all our food, even the guy repeated it when we ordered and still not get it all. The food tasted worse then when we used to go there. Chow mein, wor won ton soup and chicken chicken wings tasted bad. Food we did get, did not come at the same time. Had to wait a little bit for each one. We will not go there again.

Great food! It’s small and when crowded service is tends to slow down but that is expected anywhere.

The food is the best Chinese food in Fairfield IMO. The prices are reasonable and they serve big portions. I enjoy their Mongolian beef from here, but last week I went in and trued their Mongolian chicken and I was amazed by how delicious it was. Their cherry chicken is another must try. All in all this is a great mom and pop Chinese food restaurant that is worth looking into if you’re craving real Chinese food.

My husband and I had been looking for an authentic Chinese food restaurant for awhile now. Hearing from a few people Feank and Yuen's was the place to try. It was definitely a good recommendation. While the atmosphere is a bit outdated , the service and food made up for that. Our server was so nice, and you could see she has been a part of this establishment for awhile but still enjoyed her job. So the wantons with sweet and sour sauce come out first with a delicious vegetable soup. I really enjoyed that. I ordered the orange chicken with steamed rice while my husband had the Kung Pao chicken with steamed rice. Not only did we have enough for lunch at the restaurant but we had dinner for that night also. Paying the $50 plus tip was well worth two meals for each of us that day. And the food was delicious. So I give Frank and Yuen's a 4 out of 5 stars.

Restaurant it's dirty, and the restrooms are super dirty with sticky floors, we dine in and the cup was dirty , food was okay, but not good.
I remember we use to love the Restaurant but won't came back there any more waste of money.
That was the second change we gave it because the other day we saw a big rat.
We tell the waitress and they just put tape on the hole that
the rat came out.

We went over the weekend and ordered 5 items, it took 40 minutes! The staff seemed as if this was new to them, like they haven’t worked in the restaurant business ever! Because of the slow service from staff and the incompetent front counter person, orders were messed up. The environment was very hostile! NEVER AGAIN! The food has taken a drastic turn for the worse.
Had the fried rice. Doesn't taste like everyone else's fried rice. They took extra time to go above average. Large portion for two but you won't get out of there without spending 15 on a meal. Good value for what you get!
