I have to be honest in this review, the food is never picture worthy and it taste even worse. I’ve only been here, maybe five times in the last 17 years but every time I’ve gone, the food hasn’t been any good. The portions are big but, who wants a lot of underwhelming food? The potatoes are always either burnt or undercooked… Everything looks like shades of brown or gray on your plate… And it’s just Not deserving of the amount of review stars it has. Loved the ambience and decor. Such a bayou feel. Food was delicious. Got the flapjacks (pancakes) and California Benedict. Also the iced caramel macchiato. Everything was fresh and delicious. Will definitely come here again for brunch.

Think Denny's with fried green tomatoes. Diner style with perfectly adequate food with a southern twist. Very popular with local families, and the service is friendly and exceptional.
