I asked if I can change type of meat on my plate and the young waitress shakes her head on her way to the kitchen irritated .. for my opinion very bad practice for a customer service please

I am in Fairfield every few months. When I am in Fairfield, I always have pupusas at Jalapeños. The chips and salsa are tasty, the coffee and pupusas are good. The curdito is very nice, finely chopped and lightly spiced. The best is the tomato sauce served warm in the morning. Everywhere else serves pupusas with tomato sauce cold from a refrigerator. Warm sauce is a wonderful treat. The service is always pleasant and prompt. When I know I will be in Fairfield, I look forward to pupusas at Jalapeños.

Had the Chile rejanos, rice and beans. Excellent, salsa homemade. Service was excellent. I could hear them making my wife's pupusas in the kitchen from scratch. Jimica was delicious.

Over 30min to serve a dish.
I tough it was just the day I had tried a few weeks ago that a fewer people were in the restaurant being the case for the long time they took to serve the food.
But today when only 2 tables were occupied and 4 people in total..
It happened again 40min to serve the food.
Definitely not coming back

For many years I was a customer of this place, but it no longer deserves my presence and what a horrible vibe there is...
How unfair that after 10 years of work the owner has only fired Don Juan without any indemnity when he was the one who built that restaurant..
Seriously, there are people who are disgustingly ambitious...
GOD bless your new Don Juan restaurant, let's support the temple in Suisun.
