Great sandwiches since I was a youngster. Through 3 different ownership's that I can remember and for me, the food has never suffered. The current family running it are wonderful folks, always cheerful and the service line is extremely efficient. You may find 20 people in line but it seems to take no time at all ti get to the front of the line. I love the Joe's Special.....Roast Beef and Pastrami with an An Jus Dip. Such a special place that is so different from big chain sandwich shops. 3 stars for atmosphere as the place is a bit worn, so what......I'm there for the sandwich!

I have been going to Joe’s buffet since the early 70’s and have always found the food the best until today. I always order the Pastrami because it’s of the best quality I’ve ever had. Today the Pastrami was stringy and fatty, kind of bland in flavor and generally of poor quality. I don’t know if this was a fluke and a one off but I’ll only give it one more try and if the quality has not improved from today it’ll be my last time eating there. Very unfortunate because I’ve always loved the sandwiches at Joe’s🙁

I asked the guy at the sporting goods store where to get a great deli sandwich because I don't get over to Fairfield that often, and I'm kinda lost over here. So, after he handed me the Trifelter Stabilizers for the Burlyshoot, he thought for a second and spurted out Joe's Buffet...Best sandwiches in town! So, off I went. And you know what...he was absolutely right!5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆
