The menu has a lot of variety and daily specials. The restaurant has a great ambiance and is staffed with friendly people.

The food wasn't too bad, not my favorite but not terrible. The House salad comes with cheese. So much for dietary options. Seriously, it's basically one dish if you are vegan. Also we got charged for a refill salad because of the waitress that was very rude and didn't seem to understand that my partner had it with the same dressing before (also why does it have to have the same dressing for a refill?? There is nothing saying that on the menu.) The waitress was very aggressive out-of-nowhere when we asked for salad refills and said some really weird stuff to us. On top of that, the front had a thing about discounts but those only work online so we also lost our on more money than what it was worth. Never going again.

Growing up, this restaurant felt like everything to me. It was the best Italian food around. We used to celebrate at Olive Garden for every occasion—every football victory, every special moment. It was always an amazing place. When my nephew turned nine and wanted Italian food, he chose Olive Garden, but his mother and I suggested Johnny Carino’s because we believed they were better.
The establishment has become thoroughly Americanized, to the point that there are far fewer Italian dishes on the menu than there used to be. Five years ago, there was so much Italian fare that it was hard to choose; now there is very little, and I ended up ordering a dry, unseasoned burger. My sister ordered the chicken parmesan with spaghetti, and the sauce clearly wasn’t freshly made; it came in a bag, tasted bland, and was watery.
I tried to steer the meal toward something I could enjoy for my nephew’s big day, but he didn’t seem to care for his own meal. One of their best things is their bread, but we only received one small loaf for five people, which felt stingy. I remember they used to bring an abundance of bread to the table.
If you’re thinking of bringing your family, a significant other, or someone you love here, I would strongly advise against it. We even requested a correction for our food, but they insisted on correcting only one meal.

I was so excited to go to Johnny corino's because the last time I was there. It was so good in southern California. This was the worst experience I've ever had in my life.I'm sixty five years old the food was so bad, it was reheated, not even warm. Let alone horrible and stale. The service was the only thing that was okay. And the cost is ridiculous the bread that was served to the table was charged, which should have been free service.

We wanted something different, so we came here. The waitress was very young and seemed as if she didn’t want be there. The food was good, But I wouldn’t come back. They also don’t offer Apple Pay and that was a bummer. The tiramisu seemed old and we left it. A $12 waste. The decor is dated and it wasn’t the warm and fuzzy Italian feel I wanted. I would order take out. But we decided not to go back unfortunately.

After more than ten years away, my wife and I returned to Johnny Carino's tonight, and it felt like stepping back in time in the most wonderful way. From 2005 to 2015, this was our Friday night routine—our special place where we shared countless meals and life-changing conversations that shaped who we are together.
Walking through those familiar doors again brought an immediate wave of nostalgia. While the interior has changed somewhat over the years, the warmth, the exceptional service, and that welcoming atmosphere we remembered so fondly remained perfectly intact. When the house lasagna with spicy marinara arrived at our table, that first bite instantly transported me back to those Friday evenings. It tasted exactly as I remembered, rich and comforting, like being welcomed home by an old friend.
The lemon mascarpone cake was the perfect ending, still as decadent and well-crafted as it was over ten years ago. In a world where restaurants often change recipes or lose their soul, Johnny Carino's has maintained its authentic character and outstanding quality.
What makes tonight even more special is that we now get to bring our two kids to create new memories in this cherished place. Watching them experience the same warm hospitality and delicious food that meant so much to us brings everything full circle. This restaurant isn't just about the food (though it's outstanding)—it's about preserving memories and making moments that last a lifetime.
For couples looking for a place to build traditions, families seeking a welcoming environment, or anyone wanting consistently excellent Italian cuisine, Johnny Carino's is your destination. Thank you for keeping the magic alive all these years. We look forward to making this our family tradition once again.

Good was great! Ordered 3 family platters for 6 adults and 2 kids under 4. We had plenty of leftovers. Only problem was the lights started flickering toward the end of our meal.

I ordered the spicy shrimp and chicken pasta, and it was great. My wife ordered the fettuccine alfredo, and we were both unimpressed. The alfredo was very runny--soupy even. It was way more expensive than we anticipated, and we ordered from the lunch menu!

This was our first time here. They accommodated a table for 7 without prior notice/reservation. When we went they were not busy. I was told it does get busy at times and may not be able to accommodate right away. The food was delicious. We ordered a few pizza's, ribbon firework spicy pasta, parmesan chicken, salad & spaghetti. My favorite was the ribbon firework pasta! The service & ambient was great!
