We dropped in for a late lunch on a cold and blustery December weekend. The dining room was surprisingly slow and the service was above and beyond! Dawnya showed us to our table and chatted family while we got settled and decided on drinks. Amina was our server and she was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I hope these two never leave because they provided the best service we have had in all of the years we have been visiting this restaurant!

For those wondering, we had the 3 course meals. I went with the French onion soup, baked brie, pot roast, and toffee cake. My husband had the Caesar salad, chicken strips, Parmesan chicken and bread pudding. I couldn't have asked for a cozier meal on such a cold and miserable day. Absolutely delicious!!!

Your average Dennys garden variety and uninspiring in a state filled with world cuisine.

Service was fine, but the food is not it, especially for the prices they charged. My party got three cups of french onion soup that each came out lukewarm, lukewarm, and cold. The cheese was not melted, and the bread topping seemed untoasted. The brie patty melt was dry, both the mushrooms and meat had a funny taste. The tuna filling in the tuna melt was dry and tasted like cat food, and the way the bread was toasted made it taste like whatever griddle they must have cooked it on. The pot roast was tough, and both the mashed potatoes and meat + gravy came out lukewarm. Another customer near us complained about his food being cold too, and sent it back. The breakfast items were fine, but I do not suspect most people would order breakfast at dinner. Dessert was great. Probably would not return based on the food alone, or at least not come for a time other than breakfast or brunch service. You would do just fine going to Mel's, Black Bear, or an iHop instead.

Relaxing to be indoors, with good music, and a glass of wine, with dinner.

Mimi’s is always great. My favorite dish is the mushroom, Brie and bacon omelette with a pancake add on, blueberry muffin to go. My husband’s favorite is pasta jambalaya

I used to live Mimi's I Dublin CA so I decided to meet a friend at this Mimi's. The first time I ordered a burger, since I haven't had one in months. It was dry as can be and the meat tasted old. I have the restaurant a second chance so I ordered the French dip. The meat tasted like old frozen meat and the au jus was garbage.
Arby's is much better than this place for half the price.

Went to the restaurant for the first time. Breakfast burrito and and chicken and waffles. Server was not very attentive. I had two bites out of the burrito and it just tasted really bad. The chicken tasted expired so we didnt eat that either. The server never checked in until the my partner finished the waffle. They were not going finish the chicken so we had already set our plates aside. Not a place worth visiting for food.

It was ok. I think the others liked it. I know food allergies and being gluten-free must be annoying for servers. It's annoying for ones having to deal with it, too. They do not have many items GF(in fact, be sure to check their sauces and dressings!), which is ok. I was happy to hear that they had GF bread for sandwhichs. However, when I asked what kind of bread it was (my daughter has some peanut/nut allergies), the waitress said, "I'm not sure, but it's brown." If I wasn't with a group, I would've left. Thankfully, she did catch herself and went and looked at the brand (it's Udi's). I ended up getting a salad, as did my daughter. She loved her ceaser salad one. Mine was ok. If you do have allergies, though, deep dive into their menu because they may not know.

Went 4 years ago for meatloaf. It was so good then. I went back two days ago July 3rd and it was horrible! I threw it away when I got home. Not going back!!!

The food is incredibly mediocre but the service was ok. We won't be going back to this chain again. There are much better mediocre restaurants.

I have been to several Mimi's Cafe over the years and while I'm not a chain restaurant person, they would be on my exception list. I go there when I'm craving a salad.
But I must give an extra rave review for this particular location! All the employees must be on happy pills. Huge smile from the front person and our waitress could not have been more attentive. I wish I would have gotten her name because she was just over the top with smiles and genuine concern for customer satisfaction. Clearly everybody seems to enjoy working there so kudos must go to the general manager for taking care of their employees.
