Pricy but so worth it!! They give each person a geeen/red token to show if you want the meat they’re walking around with at the time or not. The only not so positive thing was that they didn’t really look at the token so sometimes they’d skip someone that wanted that meat or just kept asking. I think that’s an easy fix with more training though. The staff was super friendly though. It felt like we were visiting friends after a few hours there ? the chef Rosali Subero came out to say hi. We praised her and she even took a picture with our group. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Sadly this place will not survive a year in Fairfield. It's simply the wrong location for this price point kind of dinner experience. There is no host at the front to check in. There are two benches outside the door as well as three benches inside by the host stand. All these benches tells me the owners don't have a firm grasps of the area demographics. It's located in a dead mall. This is not Dublin, Santana Row, or Walnut Creek. This place will never be that busy to where you would need five benches for guest to wait to be seated. When we went for 7:30 dinner, there were only two other seated tables in a buffet style restaurant that has a seating capacity for close to 40 tables. The view of a dying shopping mall doesn't help either. It's a restaurant doom loop scenario with an AYCE that doesn't have the foot traffic to consume the food fast enough to keep it fresh. Two things will happen: 1) the food is dry and overcooked from sitting under heat lamps. The salmon from the buffet was really dry as was the ribeye, lamb and sirloin wrapped with bacon. 2) there's too much food waste the overhead becomes unbearable. The picanha, ribs and cheese (with honey), and pineapple were good. Generally, I think the food quality is good but again from the lack of people they are forced to keep the cuts of meat longer than necessary to avoid waste and end up serving well done and dry cuts of beef. The staff was great and we're doing the best they can given the scenario. It's a very somber and depressing dinning experience.
WHAT A HIDDEN GEM! We were visiting from Southern California and stumbled upon this place. The food was great! The wine selection was impressive and most importantly, the service was amazing! The meat was NON STOP. I am definitely recommending Pampas…

This location opened just a week ago. We arrived early just as they opened and were greeted warmly and welcomed. They explained the process and we were off to enjoying a fantastic meal. So much more than a salad or cold bar, the ceviche was delicious, seasoned fruits, cured meats and wonderful cheeses. The meats were on rotation to our table every 5-7 minutes. Each was delicious, but I really enjoyed the lamb chops. Grilled pineapple and grilled cheese with papaya jam and honey made a sweet ending. Everyone was so friendly and the food was amazing!

The food and service was great. I would have given 5 stars but I think the salad bar could use some work. All of the salad bar offerings were good but they could add a few more.
All-in-all great atmosphere, food and service.
I'm glad they re-opened and I'll definitely be returning.

There was no host. A server saw us standing by the entrance not sure what to do so he went ahead and seated us. The spicy picanha was well done and the bottom sirloin needed salt. The food in general needed more seasoning. The candied bacon was good though. I think the servers were trying their best but the restaurant was just understaffed. It was $7 for a single can of coke. My wife said the bathroom was disgusting. We usually go to Napa for Brazilian Bbq but decided to give Pampas Fairfield a try. We're not likely to go back to Pampas.

TLDR: definitely not Fogo.Bad experience from start to finish. 2 entrances but no one to greet you from the mall entrance and no indication that you need to walk around. No liquor license despite advertising drinks on their website. Bathrooms out of order. Probably would have left right then if it wasn't Valentine's day. Things did not improve though. Food was mediocre if I'm being generous. Service was non existent, we had to flag someone down for everything. Gauchos don't know their meats and either overcooked or wildly undercooked everything. Price was just insane. Way more expensive than Fogo de Chao and nowhere near the quality. Save your money and pass on this place.

Went on Valentine's day. Short staffed, no liquor license, no working bathroom on the entire 1st floor of the mall. It is in a mall, with mall restaurant kids working and trying their best to run a 5 star priced restaurant with 2 star training. Hot food was cold, salad bar was goodies straight out of the jar, and the dishes were heavily mayo based. It was awful, we gave up, tired of eating the bad food. And the cost!! $160 for 2 people before tip. That's even more than a real Fogo De Chao. And Fogo this was not. Save your money and your date. I don't expect this place to last much longer than the 4 months they have been open. The kids were running around, bless their hearts- but gauchos they are not.

We went on Tuesday night 6 PM. Place was completely empty expect for 1 group. Wonder why !Salad bar had bugsThey have all the standard Brazilian steakhouse meats but the quality is 2/10 to say the least.Lamb chop stunk! Literally no flavorThey ran out out of cheese bread, as if the place was packed lolThey ran out of jalapeño steakThey ran out of cheese and honey.I don’t understand how do you run out of this when you’re a Brazilian all you can eat place AND the place WAS empty !! Like howOh and to think that with all this you would actually get some sort of discount on your bill because you didn’t offer what you promised. NOPE we got full bill.I didn’t ask for a discount it’s not what I do. But BASIC customer service practices tells you to do something about it.I had service 3 stars just because our server was actually nice.No wonder why the Palo Alto location closed, this place should be SHUTDOWN. What a waste of drive and money.Just look at all the 1 star reviews, very consistent. I don’t understand how anyone gives this place 5 stars lol what an embarrassment
