My son and I ordered a banh mi sandwich and it was by far the worst sandwich I've ever ordered in my life. The bread was not only cold but also stale and the meat itself was also old and appeared to be sitting out for a long time, very dry and cold. Unbelievable that they served this to us. For this reason I will never go back to this place again. My gut tells me if we were Vietnamese they wouldn't have served it to us.

SaiGon Nho is quaint family run eatery that offer authentic Vietnamese cuisine. It is located at Texas st between Webster and Jefferson street in downtown Fairfield, CA.

They have breadth of traditional Vietnamese food at a very reasonable price. From their aromatic pho to savory rice meals, every bite was made with the freshest ingredients and traditional recipes. Today, I was craving some South East Asian food. And minutes later I’m at Saigon Nho. Interior seats were spacious with relaxing atmosphere. I swiftly perused their menu, and ordered a Chicken Vermicelli with veggies (Bún gá núóng). And it was very flavorful, fresh and tasty. Probably better than those they serve in Los Angeles.

Staff (Tony) was attentive young lad. Prices were a huge bang for your bucks. Serving was abundant. Street parking was easy. Overall, Saigon Nho has authentic flavor and I highly recommend them.

I have not found a good Vietnamese place since the pandemic. The quality, presentation and flavor was excellent! The service was great as well as the prices.
I highly recommend this place.

Insanely good food across the board at very reasonable prices, compared to a lot of other Vietnamese restaurants in Cali.

We ate there 3x over 2 consecutive days, that’s how good it is.

Bun rieu is a beautiful flavor bomb. Best bun rieu I’ve had in a very long time. I cook it myself too, and it’s hard to get that complex flavor. Missing oc, but I’m guessing most Americans are relieved they’re not in the bowl.

bun Bo hue is in our opinion the best BBH in California, better than BBH Ahn Nam. Hands down. Punchier flavors, delicious broth, and incredible value. Add their sate sauce (in tiny tubs on table) to enhance flavor.

pho broth is clean tasting and I love that you can choose your own combi (how thoughtful!)

com suom bi (rice combo platter) is massive. I was expecting broken rice but they used premium Cali rice. It went well with their generous grilled pork chops, which were seasoned heavily. Pickled carrots were a great foil. We easily polished off all the rice.

Goi cuons are extremely well priced.

Kitchen can be a little spotty, with my pho missing an item or other tables waiting on half their plates, but you gotta cut them slack— it’s mom & pop working the kitchen.

Fairfield residents you guys are sooooo lucky to have this gem!

We ordered several soups; even with the extra beef fat, the soup still lacked flavor. I think this place is overrated. I wish a real pho restaurant would come to Fairfield where you could order bones with meat, gristle, and fat—the bone marrow! This tasted literally like beef and chicken bouillon broth. We also ordered a spring roll; the lettuce in the fresh spring roll was wilted. The young lady tried to tell me that it was from the wrap, but we all know they just tried to pass off old lettuce. It's unfortunate; it's the little things that matter. Putting only lettuce and vermicelli with shrimp in a spring roll is not a spring roll. You have to put in at least some basil or even mint. I'm shaking my head.

Been here about 5 times now and I always order the same item which is their noodle pho noodle soup. Best noodle soup I've ever had in the Bay Area. My wife orders the Chicken Vermicelli bowl, and she also said that it's the best. The place is kept clean, and the service is excellent. I really need to try other items from the menu like the Bahn Mi or other plate dishes.
