Got there at 12pm orders a large pizza and buffet and no one was in there besides a table of people. And did not get our food until a hour later. Nobody told us that we had a weight. They did not say that they were busy. And gotta get back to work.

Friday night karaoke, family oriented, great prices, the people who frequent this place are very nice. Dealing with my baby, I left my purse ?. I had no clue I left it till they were already closed for the night. I called the next day very worried but they reassured me they had it. When I arrived to grab it, I had to know who turned it in. Apparently the employees found it as they were cleaning up, and put it up. It was just as I had left it, nothing was missing .Lets me say this: they are good people with good vibes. Make sure to pay their establishment a visit ?

I live out of state and knew we were going to be going to Straw Hat for a Hot Hat. It had been over 20 years since I'd last had a hot hat, and was out of my mind excited.From the moment we got to the counter to order, my heart sank to my feet. I was literally heartbroken.The man at the counter didn't speak English and I'm not sure he understood it either. We stood there for several minutes and he never looked up. When I finally spoke up, he looked terrified, as if he were absolutely clueless as to how to help me and had no idea as to why we were there.He got our order wrong, and just at that time, the Manager drove up and immediately took over when he came in. He corrected our order and we were done.We got there a little bit after opening time, and both got the salad bar, and almost everything was empty or near empty. Due to the condition of the salad bar, I feared the toppings & containers weren't clean and food wasn't stored properly. I ate at my own risk.It took FOREVER to get our food, and it wasn't appealing at all when it arrived.My Hot Hat was dry and not at all like I expected. (A hot hat is like a sandwich wrapped in pizza dough.)Overall, I can not in good conscience recommend this Straw Hat location to anyone! The service, food & facility are well below standards & reasonable expectations.The owner(s) need to be present more and improve their training, policies, procedures & expectations for their employees.Quite honestly, I don't feel the owners really care how customers are treated, how clean the food areas are, how properly the food is stored & handled, nor about the quality of their food. I'll be writing Straw Hat's home office about this location.Having owned my own dining establishment, I'm fully aware of Health Code requirements and food handling protocols set by the government. These rules and laws aren't optional....they MUST be followed to the T! Especially post-covid!Do yourself a favor and support a more worthy local eatery. Don't risk getting a food Bourne illness from this Straw Hat.Rarely do I write an unfavorable review to this degree, however in my heart, I feel it is truly warranted this time.

We did a pick up order for pizza, there was karaoke going on inside, the atmosphere was warm and friendly, staff was very nice and were very careful and caring to get our order right due to a glitch when I ordered online. Pizza was delicious.Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza was delicious, veggies were not overcooked and still had a little texture to them.

Mediocre pizza if you have kids or family who aren't really picky. We have ordered here a few times and the last few times it's just "okay" nothing special. It's reasonable so if you have a party and are on a budget and aren't picky then this place will be a good option. They have really good prices and they deliver fairly quickly too. Inside the restaurant seems ok as well, they have bands and karaoke some nights. The staff were all nice. But definitely not pizza that I crave.

Just moved from Hayward California to Fairfield. First thing I wanted was a salad. I usually love salad bars because of their fresh options. I usually dine at straw hat in the east bay.. great eats... So I googled the closest one to my address, which was in Suisun City. Long story short, all their worried about is getting pies out the door.. sald8 bar looked 2 days old.. nothing fresh... On top of it... Flies were all over the vegetable's,Eggs, plates.. The Garlic Chicken pizza was not cooked all the way with uncooked dough that was soggy. The chicken was very wet like it was chopped and frozen then out on the pizza. We had to cook it more at home. We had to wait a long time and our vuzzer did not go off. This pizza was way to expensive for the quality.

Arrived at 815 tonight. Place was empty, ordered out food and waited..... until 850... when they told us that it was so late that they were going to close and could we take our food to go? 4 employees stood around the entire time and never even started our pizza in the oven, or our appetizers. Horrible customer service.
