“I enjoy stopping at this taco truck when I'm passing through Farmington. I had four tacos: asada, pollo, pastor and carnitas. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing but they taste good too. For $2.50 per taco it's reasonable. They are street taco size. With a Mexican coke it's a match. I should try their other fare that they offer sometime.”
“Everytime I eat here I feel like I'm eating at my grandma's house, just full of love and laughter. The food is amazing. I always get and recommend to everyone I talk to the Western burger here. Absolutely the best burger made with wagu beef. Phenomenal!!!”
“What can you say about an Escalon institution that hasn'tbeen said? Great place that hasn't changed in years (in a good way). Lots of options, but you can't go wrong with pepperoni pizza and a draft pitcher.”
“My family and I have been here many of times since they opened October 2022. They have perfected there craft throughout this year, and its been awesome to see the wandering fox grow, gina has created a great brand for herself! The wandering fox is an awesome ? of a place to go too. It's more then just a coffee shop. Do you know how many people I've seen just needing a place to vent or cry?? Lol I have never been so proud of a place in linden. Creating community.& also to see it grow In the small town of little old linden, we needed something new!!! So badly!! Let me tell you, Gina and her family have been needed in this town. They started with pizza plus. Now gina on her own venture started the coffee shop. She has wandered around many coffee shops, she researches her coffee and i love that she cares this much about her place. Your coffee is bomb girl!Theres julie who will make you feel right at home, who makes your cup full of sunshine and the one who makes the yummy breakfast burritos who brings warmth and sunshine to the place as well as gina , working there butts off. They all do work so hard here. Lillie is a wonderful calm spirit that makes you feel at ease and makes wonderful coffee. Maddie is Gina's daughter and has taken on her mommas work ethics and also has a calm demeanor about her, also very confident in the way she flows in life.Anyways-It comes down the fine little details, to the stamps they put on each white bage for the food, to the little cute stickers they put kn the cups, the grass wall with so many detailed flowers. So many things you'll discover each time you go.Also-Don't forget they do a sticker of the month! The coffee is great from each of the workers!I love the artic fox (double white mocha) and I love the breakfast burritos ( they sell out quick)!!! It's not just a coffee shop. It's for the community to enjoy, and ultimately that's Gina's mission to provide to the community.”
“I bought a Denver omelette hash browns and biscuits and gravy. Biscuits weren't dry at all and the gravy had a lot of flavor. Absolutely amazing... the waitress was kind and the food was great. Definitely will be coming back.”
“Wonderful fresh farm to table. Nice atmosphere and good service. Just what I wanted on a Friday night after a busy work week. Salad was an unexpected surprise and the gnocchi was delish.”
“If I could, I'd rate food and service more than 5 stars. From the chips and salsa to the entrees and soup, everything was so tasty. The salsa was so fresh... we joked that we could drink it from a straw if it wasn't frowned upon. We got the chorizo and egg plate with flour tortillas and the carne asada plate with corn tortillas. While I enjoyed the flour over the corn tortillas, everything was delicious and flavorful! The rice wasn't dry and the refried beans had a nice texture. We took home an asada burrito and the albondigas. The burrito was delicious even after a few hours of being in the fridge. That tortilla, man... love it. The albondigas was comforting. The meatballs and broth were perfect. If I had any criticism on the albondigas, it was I wish they gave us more meatballs.I wish I got the gentleman's name of who greeted us and helped us. He was super friendly. Lovely man to chat with. Gave us enough privacy but also was helpful, interested, attentive, and grateful for us stopping by.The restaurant is small and probably easy to miss. It's attached to a liquor store and has bars on the window. It's a hole in the wall environment, but totally worth to go in. The seating area was clean and comfortable and they had two TVs on playing Mexican music and a Mexican variety show. The kitchen is in the middle of the room with a wall partition separating it from the eating area. Whatever they do to ventilate the food smells/smoke, it's pretty impressive. Also, paying with cash will save you some money, but paying with a card won't break the bank. This place is a gem. Please visit these nice people. It almost felt like going to my friend's mom's house.”
“I've been driving by this place for years and seeing the big 40 beers writing on the roof and if you've seen my reviews, you know I love me some beer. So I finally got a chance to stop in, and I was pretty surprised by what I found. The inside had a fair amount of seats, in a couple of sections. The Bartender was great, and the beer menu was really good. Admittedly, I don't think there were 40 beers currently on tap, but it was 20+. And the food menu was Fire. I ended up with pastrami reuben, cause that's what I do. And it was good. Good ratio of meet, tasty pastrami, nice and cheesy. Super solid. My wife got the turkey melt and she was over the moon about it. Per her, "they heated up the turkey", which I guess isn't that common. So she loved the sandwich and said she wants to go back. So yeah, I think we're going back :)”
“Cute wine bar, sangria was excellent. They also have some small bite options, there is not a full meal menu though. This is more of an after dinner or before place. Staff was nice, and there was plenty of parking. It's in the old hardware store building, they did an awesome job renovating it. Very nice & cozy. There was lots of seating to accommodate a small or large group.”
“This place saved us driving back from Camp Tawonga with a grumpy toddler. The fro yo hit the spot, the bathroom was used by all members of the family, and the play area was sooooo appreciated. Plus, it's in the same shopping plaza as a huge antique store. I want to come back next time I'm on this route.”
“On our way up to camping, we usually stop in at the Wendy's. Well, the Wendy's is now gone, to be replaced by some Vegan restaurant. Los Betos is just next door, so we gave it a shot. It was quite busy, so we had to wait a bit for our order. Our meal was excellent! The meat was hot & tasty, and all the fixings were fresh. Looks as if this place may be our new pre-camping lunch spot from now on!”
“This is the only taco truck in this whole area I would buy from. The food is so fresh and it's made to order. The people are so nice and they know my order before I can even say it out loud. I'm there at least once a week to get lunch.Parking: Wide open area with space for trucks with trailers to park even.”
“Wednesday night steak dinner for $16 is a great deal. It comes with salad, french fries, and a slice of French bread. The french fries was a slightly small portion but overall for $16 very worth the price.”
“Hello, look, there are no lunch boxes or restaurants near the Pantheon, so we had a delicious cake here in this place and I really liked it very well, thanks for your attention”
“I had a drop off of one of the Energy Tea drinks, and it was so delicious! I forgot the flavors besides grape, but I'll def be stopping by! The employees have great service too!”
“My wife and I go here as much as possible. I love the sesame chicken and usually get a 2 item bento box along with some unagi. Super good and the 1 item bento is such a deal being $12. Haven't had a bad visit yet!”
“They are always so nice and it doesn’t take long to get your food. The food is always fresh and they give a good amount of meat for your $! Drive 15 min just to come to this specific taco truck :)”
“I've been eating this Krispy krunchy Chicken since 2019 when I was driving truck in the Bay Area. As long as you get it fresh and hot it's good stuff to eat. The chicken sandwiches were really good though a lot of places don't sell them no more. And they had used to have a sauce called boom boom sauce cuz they don't sell anymore it was a hot spicy sauce that was really great. They started to bring the franchise towards the valley where I reside and it's hit and miss around Stockton California. There's a place down on Thornton Road that sells it nice and hot all the time and there's a place on Center and Park Street that sells it the full variety with the biscuits. There's a place on Waterloo a little gas station that sells it also but they hold back I guess they only make enough for the day because they have the option that whatever they don't sell you can buy cold chicken and what they called Snap bags you can buy them with food stamps. I would highly suggest that anybody that likes Fried Chicken try this chicken hot and fresh but like anything else a lot of fried chicken will clog up your arteries so you moderation in anything you do”
“Love the chili relleno, best around. Favorite is Flautas made with flour tortillas and asada taco truck tacos. I like how they give you a big cup of soda, where usually you don't need refills.”
“Great service! Makara has been our go to sushi in Oakdale...and now in its new Escalon location! The owners have worked hard to achieve consistently Five-Star dining experience!”
“I buy Rosa’s pastries at Baba’s Bazaar on Hwy 120 before entering Escalon. Love the fruit pies and Blue Berry turnovers. Apricot and Apple turnovers are also delicious. Flaky crust melts in the mouth. Pleasure to have Rosa’s in Escalon.”
“Highly recommend stopping in! We love coming here and will continue to come back. When dining here you can expect great food and great service everytime! Going to strongly recommend trying the ”
“There is a restaurant section and a bar section people working there are very professional, and the people that frequent this establishment are family oriented people, it has a small town atmosphere and the food is excellent especially the tri-tip sandwiches. They are closed on Mondays only.”
“Wanted some pizza while I was in town visiting family. Perfect place if you want to grab a quick slice. Also a good place if you're eating halal. Would definitely come again.”
“I stopped by Mi Tierra yesterday for a late lunch/early dinner. The ambience is great, it's super cute in there. I have a lot of stomach sensitivities so my diet is quite strict. I ordered the vegetarian burrito and asked the waitress to make sure there was no tomatoes so I swapped the salsa for tomatillo salsa and left out the pico de gallo. I've had a lot of vegetarian burritos and normally they have the grilled fajita veggies in them and I'm really just not a fan. This was not that, honest to God it was the best vegetarian burrito I have had in the longest time, if not ever. And the agua de Horchata was legit. The ambience was nice and clean, the service was good, the food was great; definitely recommend and will come back.”
“I love the garlic chicken combination plate as my husband loves the double chicken rice bowl. If you love spicy mustard definitely need to try theirs. Service is really good and the guy who owns it is very nice!”
“We love this pizza place! We had our soccer teams pizza parties here and they were amazing! Great pizza in town and the service is always good! Great ambiance and a must in town!”
“Easily the greatest bar in rural San Joaquin County. On Saturday night this bar was like something out of a Toby Keith song. You had the old timers, the college students, the farmers, the tourists coming back from Yosemite, and an after party for a local MMA fight in Modesto. The bar has a great selection of draft and bottled beers at a reasonable price. It has the homey and friendly feel of a local dive bar but has been recently renovated so it still looks pristine and nonthreatening. Check out this place if you are on Highway 120 and want to drink beers a safe distance away from Stockton.”
“Everything about this place was a yes. The restaurant itself has the small town diner charm and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food was super good and very reasonable prices. I will definitely come here again.”
“Very cool place with very tasty and filling food! I ordered a double cheeseburger with bacon and it had my mouth salivating! It came with fries and a cup of chili. The chili was amazing! For my beverage I had lemonade and ice water. The service is prompt and friendly.”
