“3rd stop in 15 years… if I’m within 2 or 3 hours I’m gonna go, and I live in Alberta, Canada!!! Best grilled oysters and attitude ever. Highly recommended. My first stop was “just passing through “ in 2008.”

“We traveled from our home out of town to try this restaurant for the first time as we often dine at hulas next door. We weren’t disappointed! We were greeted when we entered . It was a Sunday around 11:00 am and the small dining area was occupied so we chose to sit at the counter. Service was quick and the coffee was hot and well brewed. We had the blueberry waffle platter, apple cinnamon waffle with a half side of biscuits and Gravie. . A whole order is 4 large biscuits. Everything was plated exceptionally well and delicious! The waffle batter must be a special recipe because I’ve never tasted one as good as those we ate today when we order them in other restaurants! All the servers were friendly, attentive and we were acknowledged when we left also. We have definitely found our new diner even though we live out of town 40 minutes away!”

“As someone who lives in San Francisco and eats at a lot of great restaurants, I can honestly say this place is top-tier. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the quality of the food is on par with some of the best spots I’ve visited in the city. What really sets this place apart, though, is the people. Chef Jay is an absolute gem—friendly, passionate, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with. We had some great conversations, and his positive energy shines through in both his hospitality and his food. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. A hidden Gem.”

“Love this place. Husband and wife duo. They are very sweet and serve yummy sushi rolls. We always take to go. We normally go at least once every two weeks.our favorite are the volcano and tai rolls. Great prices and great food.”

“I've been eating this Krispy krunchy Chicken since 2019 when I was driving truck in the Bay Area. As long as you get it fresh and hot it's good stuff to eat. The chicken sandwiches were really good though a lot of places don't sell them no more. And they had used to have a sauce called boom boom sauce cuz they don't sell anymore it was a hot spicy sauce that was really great. They started to bring the franchise towards the valley where I reside and it's hit and miss around Stockton California. There's a place down on Thornton Road that sells it nice and hot all the time and there's a place on Center and Park Street that sells it the full variety with the biscuits. There's a place on Waterloo a little gas station that sells it also but they hold back I guess they only make enough for the day because they have the option that whatever they don't sell you can buy cold chicken and what they called Snap bags you can buy them with food stamps. I would highly suggest that anybody that likes Fried Chicken try this chicken hot and fresh but like anything else a lot of fried chicken will clog up your arteries so you moderation in anything you do”

My first time here and I really enjoyed it! I had the Chile Verde with corn tortillas. The fried chips served with the salsa started the culinary experience off right. For my beverage I had a large Jamaica.”

Tostada de ceviche is simply perfect. Amazing size. Nice light but subtle flavors. Magnificent.

Soft carne asada tacos, tender meat beautifully cooked. Light corn tortillas. Another tasty meat option meal.

Grand finale Quesabirrios special, as it is just stunning. The softness of meat, intensity of the dip. Just try it and see yourself.

I had 2 tacos and the carnitas were so moist and flavorful. I’m very picky about carnitas, they were not dry, too salty or greasy/fatty. They were simply divine. I’m having my hubby stop tomorrow and get me a burrito.They should deliver to CHCF stockton which is down the road. They would make a killing!!!!”

“A hidden gem! I had a very delicious Carne Asada wet burrito with red sauce . It was amazing and the portions were generous. The chips and salsa had great flavors. For my beverage, I had a mango Jarritos. If you live in the area, you need to try this place out.”

The bar itself has a mostly wooden interior & feels like a proper dive bar. It's got alcohol, a jukebox, pool table & free wifi... What else do u need? 5/5 will visit again”
