Visiting the Ivanhoe was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is enchanting, blending modern updates with the timeless charm of the 1870s. The food is exquisite, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The staff are welcoming and make you feel like VIPs, and I was even given a tour of the hotel section. The art and design are truly stunning, reflecting Geoff's dedication and vision. Plus, their mocktails are fantastic—refreshing and delicious! Though the hotel is not open yet, I highly recommend staying there once it does. The Ivanhoe is truly a gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

This place is a GEM! The food, service and atmosphere is excellent. I came to listen to music by one of the best local musicians, Mike Gibbs 🥰)in the bar area and ate off of the bar menu. Had the twice-baked potato, chicken fingers, fresh homemade bread, and clam chowder. All were exceptionally delicious and reasonably priced. Did I mention the chefs special of local chanterelles? 🍄🟫 Those were oh.so.good!
Also had a jalapeño margarita and my friend had a glass of rosé from a local winery. Both were great. Prices were very reasonable and the service was friendly without being over the top. Thank you Heather, Colby and Garrett.
This is the perfect spot for a low-key weeknight after-work drink and bite to eat. The bar menu is a bonus. I’ve also been here during busy weekends and the service has always been consistently good.

Absolutely hands down one of the greatest meals and service in this county ever. From the hostess warm welcome, the servers attention to every detail possible, and some of the most flavorful food ever, this is a winner in every way possible. Went for a BDay celebration dinner. The server was WONDERFUL and very nice. However, my sister's $20 glass of wine had what we thought to be parts of a wax seal under the cork at the bottom of the glass. It was pinot noir so you couldn’t see them until she got one in her mouth. There was quite a bit in the glass. We brought it to the servers attention. She apologized. Told the manager. Manager didnt come out to handle it. Instead proceeded to tell the server to offer us half off since 1/2 was drank until my sister got a piece in her mouth. I was blown away. It wasn't about money. It was about doing the right thing and the manager failed. Here's the topper....I got SOOOOO sick that night! I was up all night with severe GI upset. Ordered the seafood alfredo. Do better Ivanhoe. This was majorly disappointing. Maybe get in touch with a hospitality consulting firm to help you out? We won't be back.

Such a stunning restoration of a true Ferndale landmark! You can tell what great care has gone into every detail. The Ivanhoe hotel is absolutely beautiful-elegant, timeless and full of Ferndale charm! It's going to be a favorite destination!

Don’t come here! Go to the Victoria Inn across the street! I brought my family here 3 times and it’s always been cold and flavorless. Word on the street is they can’t afford to pay employees and wouldn’t pass a health inspection if their life depended on it.. wish it wasn’t true really wanted to see this place succeed. Really sad to see it close…

Had dinner here last weekend with some friends. It was not just cold but had no flavor at all. The presentation on the plates was also terrible - didn't look appetizing to start with. I heard they let chef Jeff go - tonight's dinner definitely showed his absence. Not the best move especially when they just opened. We will not be coming back.

They’ve removed the head chef who created the establishment stole the recipes and said they couldn’t afford him anymore… sad to say I won’t be going back, the cold food, amount of flies and poor service is disturbing… sad to see it go.
The food was so acidic, and a chicken salad wasn't at our table until 10 minutes before we left. Our whole 13 person party was done eating before we were. And... the chicken was raw!! Overall expensive and not as hyped as it was

Stopped in for a bite to eat at the bar. Fried Brussel Sprouts were delicious. No worries about vampire attacks because the Garlic chicken wings were extra garlicky!

We had 5:30 reservations for 3. We were promptly seated- asked about our choice of tables. Nicole was our server. Service was prompt and friendly. We ordered drinks from the bar ahead. We had prompt service from the bar. Dinner choices for our table were chicken marsala, pesto ravioli, and seafood fettuccine. All of the food was served hot, in a timely manner and was absolutely delicious. The wine selection was quite extensive with our choice of Redwood Cellars OG Experience a great choice. I cannot say enough about the excellent service and really timely food coming from the kitchen. Everything was delicious from the salads to the main course. I would give a special shout out to brussel sprouts which I would order as a stand alone dish! We were regulars prior to 2020, great to come back and experience “The Ivanhoe” in its heyday. ❤️

We just walked in for dinner. Saturday night sat at the bar. Our bartender was seylena. She was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious! We had soup of the day, (the bread is so!!! Good) ribeye steak vegetables and pasta! All amazing! A few drinks! Didn’t have room for dessert. Seylena was not only great at communication with us but with her co workers as well! I watched a couple other customers personally thank her for the drinks she made them and complement her energy. Great Employee for this company. Great food! We will be back!
