Incredibly unexceptional.- Stroganoff was excellent- New York Strip had no fat, and consequently carried none of the typical flavor. Not worth the pricetag.Environment was fine given the neighborhood in which it's situated, and the construct of residents. (See: probable January 6th participants)So anyway. Average.
I received a recommendation for this restaurant while staying at an Airbnb in Ferndale and boy am I glad that I dropped in. I visited during COVID 19 and unfortunately was only able to pick up food to go. However, the woman who answered the phone when I rang was extremely friendly. I was in town solo for a couple of days and showed at the restaurant without a reservation. The very nice hostess said she’d get me a table in 20 minutes or I could sit at the bar and eat. I chose the bar, and had a really nice time. Ordered the small potion of prime rib, and received a very generous cut that was delicious. The bartender poured a very good martini and gave me an interesting mini history lesson of the town. The town of Ferndale is a hoot as well. A nice couple...
