Patch’s Pastries is a great place to get delicious locally made ice cream, and yummy freshly baked cookies. Even better is to get an ice cream sandwich made on the spot from your choice of cookies and ice cream.

After a not so great lunch, we wanted to try a bit of ice cream in this town. We took the rainbow sorbet from this interesting looking shop. We thought that it was made in house but i saw that he pulled out a large BlueBunny bucket and scooped out the shorbet.
The wait was long. It looked like it was short staffed. And this was a long weekend.
We enjoyed the sorbet while sitting on the bench right in front of the shop.

Near closing time ( 7pm) The person at counter was literally taping her nails on the counter like she was not interested in any thing related to customer service(that’s my experience maybe your luck will be better)

The items labeled gluten free on the online menu (like French macaroons) are not actually gluten free when I visited in person

The pastries are sublime, a delight every time we can visit. Well worth the time spent, always smiling staff ready to make your experience special. Thank you Patches Pastries!

I'm only choosing 4 and not 5 because they heated my sandwich and I was unaware all sandwiches get heated? I'm sadly stuck with the below mushy mess. Heated the lettuce too 😤. That said, the atmosphere was totally Vibing 👌

Patches' Pastries in Fortuna is such a welcome addition. The scones, cinnamon rolls, croissants and other cookies and pastries are consistently delicious. I ordered small scones for a school party and they were wonderful. A good place to gather with friends.

Went in to the Fortuna location yesterday and got a cinnamon roll on the display the price said $5 sounded like an amazing deal for the size of it. Went to pay and the lady ringing me up charge me $7, no big deal but I did mention how it said $5 on thier display and instead of fixing if they made excuses for it and got mad at me for mention the discrepancy. Definitely makes me not want to go back, the cinnamon roll was good though.

Went today for the first time and was really excited after being told personally about how good this place was and seeing such good reviews. I dont know if we caught an off day or a bad time especially with it being memorial day but the service and food really was disappointing. Immediately the older woman at the counter felt annoyed with us and rushed us. Even with no line behind us and her beginning the exchange. We didnt rush her or immediately start telling her our order either. She was rude to her coworkers multiple times as well, example being when I had asked for the four listened macaron flavors she was told that they had another flavor, chocolate as well that wasnt listed. Without telling us this info to see if we wanted that flavor as well or even just informing us she waved off the employee and said ‘just give me any four!’. We also paid extra for whipped cream on our drinks and didnt recieve it likely from her taking one item of an order at a time and yelling it back to her coworkers instead of taking the time to take our full order. On top of this the macarons were solid hard even minutes after receiving them on the hot day and tasted poor, felt like it was from the freezer. The danishes lacked flavor in the dough though the raspberry one was definitely better than the blueberry. The tiramisu was good and the drinks as well were really good. But mainly the drink made on site was what made the trip good, not even the baked goods. Again maybe the worker had a stressed day but it was really disappointing and a turn off seeing how she treated her co workers. Left me confused what I did as a customer to immediately annoy her before even getting a word in.

Go here! First, coming into the shop is so fun! The set up is so cute and just gives a great cafe vibe. Next - the pastries and more knock your socks off beautiful. I couldn’t believe how delicious everything looked, and it was super difficult to choose what to get. The staff was super nice and friendly. I will 100% be going back, so many wonderful delights to try!! So grateful to have such a shop like this in Fortuna.

Love the Fortuna location! The shop is very friendly and warm. Great tea & coffee. Great food and excellent customer service!
