An absolute gem. The service was delightful, and the food was delicious. A definite must if you're anywhere near it.

For what we paid for three small dishes, we could have had a feast at most Mexican restaurants in the greater Eureka area. And the food would have been better, too.

I went there last year on vacation, and the food was so good. But especially the salsa. The fresh salsa that they give you with the chips, we were practically drinking it out of the cup. It was so good. We were almost embarrassed by it. But not quite. ☺️ I miss that salsa. Highly recommend.

The pan seared fish tacos w/Chipotle lime sauce were amazing!

Nestled in a quaint Victorian-style town, this Mexican cantina is an absolute gem! The ambiance is delightful, with a perfect blend of old-world charm and cozy comfort. Our server, Marisela, was an absolute delight! She was attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience truly special. The food was exquisite, each dish bursting with authentic Mexican flavors and beautifully presented.

And oh, the drinks! They have an impressive selection of special cocktails. I highly recommend trying their signature Margarita or the refreshing Paloma. Each drink is crafted to perfection and adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience.

I highly recommend this cantina for anyone looking to enjoy a wonderful meal in a picturesque setting. Be sure to ask for Marisela for top notch service!

The atmosphere was amazing, and despite it being busy, the waitress was fantastic and friendly. On top of everything else, the fish tacos were the best I’ve ever had. It was an incredibly positive experience in every way and we will definitely return!

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids’ menu with about 5 options all around $5 each.

Our group of 9 was seated at 2 hightop tables in the cantina. It was tight and uncomfortable (meant for 6 people max) and so we asked to go to the main seating area where there was a large table available. The server scoffed at us, later we saw her pretend to take a sip from a drink before serving it to us, and we were charged an unexpected $5.40 card transaction fee after we saw her spending an unreasonably long time with our card at the register talking and laughing with other servers.

The food was excellent. Recipes all tasted homemade especially the horchata and Jamaica which is hard to come by these days. Abby our server was very friendly, timely, and welcoming. 10 out of 5 stars.

We sat in the bar and enjoyed a nice dinner meal. The food was great as was the service. Ferndale is such a cool little town and everything there is casual but still upscale. Highly recommend!

Ok, this place is quite the find in quiet little Ferndale! Stopped here and had two Asada Enchiladas and Chicken Taquitos both fresh and excellent food quality! Chips were super homemade crispy and salsa had just the right taste and kick. The outdoor sidewalk seating was very pleasant as the road traffic is light and downtown feels very casual. House margaritas were not from a mix and had decent amount of tequila.

Amazing food. Biking the Pacific Coast and ordered the chicken mole. Would eat here over and over. Great service. Just what I needed after 2 days of sardines.

I moved to California from Chicago a year ago and have been struggling with the food out here. This place was a hit. It's a chill spot in a chill town. Seriously, this town is out of a book. This was an impromptu stop on my way back from lost cost. The michalada was killer, the tacos were spot on, but the waitress/ bartender brought it all together ?
