We were at Tenaya Lodge for a conference and ended up eating here for 4 nights as it really is the most convenient place to dine, especially during inclement weather. The menu is varied so there are many choices, including kids' meals. The food is good, but don't expect fine dining. I enjoyed the salmon dish so much I had it for two nights. The cobb salad was generous. Service was attentive and our server was friendly. We will definitely dine there again.
Thanks to Jackalope being on Open Table, we didn't have to wait and were seated when we showed up for our reservation time. Our server was friendly and efficient. Our meals were good - I had a Cobb salad that had a generous amount of bacon, egg, and blue cheese crumbles. My hubby had a Philly cheesesteak that he enjoyed. This isn't a fancy place, but they have lots of choices of food and welcome families. Perfect for those staying at the Tenaya Lodge.
We checked into the lodge for two more nights and went to the restaurant on the first evening, which had a really nice atmosphere. Since we were seated right next to the fireplace, I was able to have dinner without freezing for the first time :)
