We used Aapakadai’s live dosa catering service, and it was a big hit with our guests! Mr. Arivazhagan was very professional and patient, helping us plan and choose the menu over the course of three weeks. The entire experience was seamless, and we highly recommend their services!

I really like the food here—it’s the best biryani in Folsom. However, the service is terrible. During one dine-in experience, they forgot my main order, and it usually takes about 20 minutes just for someone to attend to us. We still go back because we enjoy the food, but the service is consistently poor, and they clearly need more staff

➕1⭐️for offering outdoor seating under a covered patio so my dod LuLu could be with me. I ordered the Maharaja non veg Thalli lunch special. What a meal, so many different things on one plate. Great price for such a treat. Service was excellent and I was offered more rice or curry if I wanted it.

Good service and the Dosa Night, which usually happens on Wednesday evenings was a good deal.

Got the idly, onion masala dosa, and veg Thai. Very delicious. I especially liked the meal since you get some of all kinds of dishes. We will be coming back.

Absolutely fantastic food.
Great food with great service! Best of all is the thali. Feels like they are undercharging the thali considering all the items that comes with it and with such authentic South Indian taste. Will definitely visit again even though the drive is 90 minutes from home. Worth the drive for this kind of food. Going to recommend all my South Indian foodies!!! Must go and try.

Came in on Sunday and ordered vegetarian Thali. On the second round of Thali, He brought & served me meat. I am a Vegetarian, strictly no meat. The gentleman served MEAT to me and I unknowingly put it in my mouth. Then he charged me full price when I was leaving. Buyer beware.

We went as a group of 5 for dinner, and it was spur of the moment. Although we had no expectations except for good food, the whole experience was under whelming plus sneaky charges.
There are a lot of dishes with unique names but the taste does not even come close, Like we couldn't tell the difference between Ambur and dindigal biriyani, although the seeraga samba rice was as promised. The garlic chicken was over powered with vinegar taste. We had to pester our host a couple of times to clear our tables, dont know why Indian restaurants behave as though we are intruding in their busy day :) We definitely got that vibe here.
What really made the experience bad for us, we were offered pan at the end on a plate and with no mention of price. We thought it was a nice touch inspite of the so so food, I came home to realize that this pan was sneakily charged $10 :( Do what you make off it,
I try to post if a restaurant is exceptional or out to get you under dubious business practices. I will never step into this place again.

Very friendly and warm staff, they’re very knowledgeable about authentic South Indian cuisine and care about your satisfaction. It was my first time here and as a college student who misses home cooking and is far away from the bay, it was very nostalgic and comforting for me. The food and menu choices are simply amazing and my non-indian friends loved it too. Will probably revisit once every other week or so.

Goat Roast is the best thing ever
This is my second time here after the opening. The first time, the experience was ok. I tried the egg kothu porotta, and my friend tried non veg thali. Thali items were a bit on the cold side, the kothu porotta was ok.Todag non veg thali was great. All items were hot and tasty. Fish Curry and Chicken 65 were awesome in the thali, and all other items were great.Mysore masala dosa was just ok. Great portion size, but tastewise was ok.Garlic chili lollipop was great.Another great visit for weekend special non veg thali. It was awesome. I loved every item in the thali especially the chicken appetizer.
