This restaurant is great but it’s pretty overpriced for the quantity they serve. Their appetizer quantities are so small compared to any other Indian restaurants or even their other locations in Bay

Drove from Sacramento to experience some South Indian deliciousness and Boy! I was NOT disappointed!! Ordered the Appam, Chicken curry, Egg curry and Chicken kothu paratha. The appam and curries were perfectly spiced and reminiscent of my mom's home cooking. I had never had kothu paratha before and I could not recommend it more if you are a fan of parathas!! I will definitely be returning and totally worth the 30 minute drive for a taste of my Kerala roots!!

This is not a typical American Northern or Southern Indian restaurant. They do have such entrees named on the menu (perhaps cooked in a different style - I don't know), but they also have some entrees which I've never seen before. They specialize in Chettinad cuisine, from the southernmost state of Tamil Nadu. It's worth your while studying their menu if you're interested in trying something different. I ordered a takeout lunch of Aappam (aka Appam) with Goat Curry. If you're not familiar with Aappam (I wasn't!), it is a thin bread made with fermented rice flour, a bit reminiscent of Injera (but thinner). The curry was very flavorful, with spices I couldn't specifically identify, but the blend was unique and delicious. The goat meat was tender, and equally tasty, and it went perfectly with the Aappam. If I have a complaint, it's that the serving size seemed small, with just a few, small pieces of goat meat. I got Kadai Vegetables for my husband, plus a side order of Chappati. This was a dish we'd never had before, and he loved it. The serving size was good, filled with big chunks of numerous kinds of veggies. The sauce ("gravy") is a tomato-based blend of spices and chilies. He found the heat level good, with enough kick to enhance the flavor, without starting to burn his mouth. There's no doubt, I'll be back, as there's much to explore here.

We got takeout chicken tikka masala and just wasn't very good. Please rework the recipe and we'll try again!

We love the food at this local new spot! The have several breads that pair well with the dishes. The service is great, and they were able to make suggestions.

We ordered 2 paneer biryani which was very bad. We had to come to the restaurant to show them that and they said we will remake that for us and got us almost the same. It is not even biryani just a mix of rice and uncooked gravy.we could literally see and feel the raw masalas. We are very disappointed, couldn't even complete 1 biryani and told to at least refund the other as it was bad and was refused.

Ordered takeout for garlic chicken fried rice along with chicken 65.First of all it's overpriced considering the food quantity. Secondly the taste is abysmal. Garlic chicken fried rice was full of onion and no flavor of garlic. Quantity of chicken was too little. Food was dry and not tasty at all. Chicken 65 was also dry and no flavor. One of the worst experience ever.

We ordered chicken fried rice. The food quantity was too small for the price. Even the quality of the food was bad. The chicken fried rice barely had any chicken in it and the rice tasted very bland. It was an absolute waste of money.

It's new and different. If you love Dosas and enjoy great hospitality and a pleasant and clean place it's a good one to try!
