Bacchus House Wine Bar & Bistro

The menu looks so good and I love the farm to fork thing. Service was excellent in the atmosphere is pretty nice. But I have to say, not one thing tasted that great. Not the appetizers. Not the mains. Even desert wasn't all that.
I've been here a long time ago and we never went back and I didn't know why. But I'm guessing it's the same reason.
Folsom seems to have a few restaurants with great looking menus and atmosphere and terrible food.
we were between Bacchus and Back Bistro, and I think we made the wrong choice. (So I don't recall the bistro being all that great either.)
The staff were amazing. (Host, waitress we're both so top notch.) And it makes me feel bad for saying anything. But I wont be back 😔

Wonderful place to eat, socialize, or to celebrate any occasion. It is true: their Prime Rib is the best in our family has ever had. A+ Merci Beaucoup to your entire staff.

A Neighborhood Charm.
Came here to try their famous prime rib, now it was cooked perfectly to my liking, also super moist and tender. The garlic potatoes can be use a little more salt to my taste, the Brussels were so light and fluffy the way it was cooked. The calamari was ok, the BBQ ribs was delightful and falls off the bone. The deviled eggs were good. The Cabernet flight was good and love the pours! Most importantly the server Nico was So on top of his job, very sweet and attentive. Will definitely return to try their other dishes. The restaurant was Super clean and beautiful inside.

Fantastic! Made reservations for a party of 17 and they went above and beyond. Food was outstanding and the atmosphere was great. We'll definitely be back. I highly recommend!

The restaurant was decorated for Halloween! ? Our meals were great and the staff was super friendly. We have to go back to check out their Halloween party at the end of the month! ?

The menu is light but you should find something to like. Also, it is an expensive place to eat but the food is good and worth the price.
The waitress was very under standing and friendly. In fact, all the employees were polite and accommodating.
The restaurant's location is the biggest drawback to the overall atmosphere. The patios are small and right next to the road and parking lot. The inside is more attractive and they do the best with the room available.

My husband and I have always enjoyed Bacchus House and their food. June 2, we visited Bacchus with two friends and I was moved by the patience and kindness of the staff. As we entered the restaurant a young man who happened to be standing at the entrance, opened the door and welcomed us in. Kayla promptly introduced herself as our waiter and asked if we were celebrating an event. One friend said, "well, we're alive!" and Kayla jovially responded that she could go along with that. Another friend requested a pillow to put between his back and the chair. Kayla happily retrieved a pillow from a nearby chair and placed it behind his back. When she noticed my husband had gone out to the car and retrieved his jacket, she noticed and said she thought it was a little chilly and adjusted the air conditioning. Ordering was a little confusing too, but Kayla continued to be patient and jovial throughout our meal. Thank you Kayla and Bacchus House for a memorable evening!

Expensive, very limited menu and not very creative. Over-hyped chef. I was expecting more. $18 for an iceberg wedge salad? Mushy calamari and over-cooked Salmon. (Was charged $23 for risotto plus an additional $15 for salmon on top = $43. Ouch!
