Just had an incredible dinner at Bella Maci in Historic Folsom. Everything about the experience was fantastic.
The restaurant has a quaint, romantic atmosphere with perfect music and a warm, welcoming vibe. You can really tell it’s a family-owned and operated place that takes pride in what they do.
Maci waited on our table and delivered truly first-class service, attentive, friendly, and genuine from start to finish.
Our table of four all agreed the food was outstanding, and the desserts were just as impressive. And the bread… easily some of the best around.
If you’re looking for a special dinner spot in Folsom with amazing food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere, Bella Maci is a must-visit.

During a short business trip to Folsom, a colleague suggested this Italian restaurant for a working dinner. The environment was calm enough for conversation, service was efficient without being intrusive, and the food quality was consistently high across the table. The seafood pasta and risotto were both well executed. Overall it was a reliable choice for a professional meeting, which is exactly what we needed.

No better place for a fantastic meal in Folsom than Bella Maci. We have eaten here about 5 times now with both family & friends and brought our baby each and every time and they have been so accommodating and friendly for having us take up another seat with an infant in a car seat. The family is amazing, their service and attentiveness is top notch, the atmosphere is fancy and relaxed without being stuffy, and after eating through the entire menu (including their delicious specials) I can legitimately say from apps to entrees, the food and wine are always on point and a true 10/10 on flavor. Thanks for making such incredible food and creating a spot for our favorite date night location for my wife & I, and best place to bring family and friends when visiting!

My sister and I visited Bella Maci today for lunch. We had such a wonderful experience, and of course the food was magnificent. Brian, the owner was quite attentive to all of the customers I wished my sister had taken pictures of all the dishes we ordered. Next time I'll remind her.
So many great aspects of this restaurant. Intimate atmosphere. Chef delivering food directly to the table. Knowledgeable wait staff. Last and definitely not least, the delicious food. I rarely get more than an entree because I'm cheap (lol), but this was a date night and I had read good things about this place, so my wife and I got 2 appetizers, 2 glasses of different wines, 2 entrees, 2 desserts, and a cappuccino. ALL of them were fantastic. It was hard to choose our favorite. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Less than a year old, and they are doing everything right.

Bella Maci is one of those restaurants that immediately makes you slow down and enjoy the moment. Cozy, welcoming, and perfectly tucked along Sutter Street, it feels like the kind of place you’d stumble into on vacation and then spend the rest of the trip going back to. Except we get it right here in Folsom.
The food is consistently incredible. Handmade pasta, rich sauces, and classic Italian dishes that feel comforting but still elevated. Every plate tastes like it was made with intention, not shortcuts. It’s the kind of meal where you’re already planning what you’ll order next time before you’ve even finished.
And the wine list? Thoughtfully curated and always on point. Pair that with warm, attentive service and it’s impossible not to settle in and stay awhile.
Bella Maci is my go-to for date nights, celebrations, and those random weeknights when you just need a good dinner to reset your mood. It’s one of the best restaurants in Historic Folsom and a big reason why I love living here.
