Everyone that works here is super friendly and perky. The food is consistent and good. When the owner is here he always checks to make sure customers are satisfied. You can tell he cares.

You're better off getting begals from the grocery store. Really disappointing. Got a poppyseed and an onion bagel. Both didn't have the right texture for a bagel and both tasted old/stale.

Last month on a lazy Sunday, I popped on in. It was 12:30 pm. Right at the door threshold, I stopped in my tracks. I did so because all the chairs were stacked on the tables. I thought they might he closing. But the sign had a 2pm closing time. So I continued to venture on in. Glad I did. The bagels are fantastic with good price points.
The staff was cleaning up but stopped to assist us. There were some muffins and bagels left. Understandably the selection was limited due to the time of day. The menu consist of bagels, bagel sandwiches, muffins (mini and jumbo sizes), and coffee drinks. I ordered a salt pretzel, well I thinks that the name. The pretzel had coarse rock salt baked on the top. The bottom had a cornmeal type crust. The bagel had a deep dense chew to it… excellent. I ordered it toasted with cream cheese. Yum. The bagel and spread was $4.25. I think the jumbo muffins were the same price. Mini
Muffins were $1 which is not bad at all as with all of their price points.

Went in this morning to get two bagels and it took them about 30 minutes to get our ready, since they initially gave our order to the wrong person. Then they gave us the wrong bagels and they were extremely cold. Very unprofessional and unorganized.

Been to this place at his first site, I like his bagels, because they are unique and different, but most of all the guy who owns the place is really a nice guy, we bonded about are motorcycles, look at some of the low reviews and I am really surprised people have not figured out, that everything is expensive, that is what the problem is in this world, people are looking for the ridiculous today, they probably could of got better ratings, if they would of done a headstand. Bottom line this place sells bagels and they are not cheap or is anything else, but if you want fresh tasty bagels. Then 5 stars!!!!!!!

Today I had to pick up lunch before running an errand. I hopped into the store for a minute and came out with a delicious Cherry Cheesecake muffin, a dozen mini muffin for my kiddos’ breakfast this week, and a veggie sandwich that was made in seconds!! I’m all about supporting local small business owners, especially when they are major community supporters and demonstrate their loving, open and welcoming attitude everyday. The bagels and muffins are made with love! 💕
Genuinely amazing and fresh bagels. I have tasted bagels all over Folsom, feel that this place is best in terms of texture, choices of cream cheese and freshness and more importantly super friendly staff

I have super picky eaters who I always struggle to feed. Their muffins go a long way in my house. Additionally I’ve known the owners a long time and they’re amazing souls.

Came on recommendation from a family member and picked up some bagels. The bagels were very good, easily a 4.5*. Service was prompt, if non-hygienic (touching hair after grabbing our bagels bare-handed). The reason this isn’t a 4* review is that the “cold brew” coffee is absolutely atrocious (1*). It tastes like somebody let hot coffee sit and burn, then dumped it into a vat to cool down and serve over ice. At its best it’s a really poor quality iced coffee. If you go, skip the cold coffee - if anything it ruins your bagel experience.

I've tried this twice and both times fell flat. Everything feels incredibly overpriced. The first breakfast sandwich I had was very bland. Some salt and pepper would probably go a long way. I tried a different bagel (french toast) on my second attempt at the breakfast sandwich... This one was so overly sweet that I had to remove the top of the bagel from the sandwich. I've had other maple cinnamon bagels that are perfectly subtle... Not this one. Posh Bagel is a lot tastier and about the same price for a sandwich. Even BJ Cinnamon's croissant breakfast sandwich is much tastier and a couple bucks cheaper.I also tried a "jumbo" blueberry muffin. It was overcooked and tasted just like Betty Crocker muffin mix. Wayyyy overpriced at $4 and hardly what I would consider jumbo. Do yourself a favor and pick up a much fresher and tastier muffin at Sprouts just down the street for only about $2 at about the same size.Don't plan to give Big Apple Bagels a third try.
