Burma Light is legit. Tea leaf salad, fried rice samosas - every curry we’ve had has also been amazing! We keep coming back - it’s on a rotation as one of our favorites.

Okay i am really strict about good food but this blew me away.
Only got it on door dash but it was amazing. The basil chili chicken was absolutely incredible. One of the best food I’ve ever had in my life. Wow just wow this was amazing, coming back tomorrow to eat in person.

Love the tea leaf salad, so refreshing and different
Loved it!
My friend and I went there on a whim. We had been invited to a boring party where our better halves were engaged, but we just weren't connecting with the local Folsom gents. So, we decided to skip the dinner—and BL didn’t disappoint. It was my first time there, though my friend had been a few times before. We ordered some great appetizers and were impressed with both the service and the food.

We were on our way back to San Francisco from Tahoe, and since we didn’t have lunch yet, we decided to stop and eat at Burma Light. I’m usually not too into Burmese food because I haven’t found any great Burmese restaurants near where I live—but this place totally changed my mind!
The food was absolutely delicious, from the appetizers all the way to dessert. Every dish surprised us with its unique and flavorful taste. The service was warm and friendly, which made the experience even better.
I highly recommend this restaurant. If you’re on your way to Sacramento or San Francisco, make a stop in Folsom and check out Burma Light. It’s definitely worth the trip!

Had the tea leaf salad, dried chili beef, and lamb curry. I would recommend all of these dishes and two orders of coconut rice to pair. The wait staff was very attentive as well. Finally, it was very affordable for the quality of the food! I would highly recommend visiting.

One of our favorite places to get take out in Folsom! We love the minted jalapeno chicken, black pepper chicken, and lemongrass chicken with coconut rice. Our young kids are super picky and love the sesame chicken.

The flavors are distinct and amazing. Not your typical taste profile for an Asian restaurant in the suburbs . Highly recommend.
