I’m not a fan of this wine.

After walking by the river or going on a walk by the American River a relaxing place to go to cool down and have great wine is Crystal Basin Station. Now they have a charcuterie board . If your hungry good for 2 but really built for more. My husband is a big fan of the bread. Cheers

I saw a review that said they were "unpretentious" well not the case. Went in the store next to it with our children to get summer clothes for our upcoming trip. I asked my hubby to pick up a few bottles to pair with our dinner and I was disappointed when he told me what happened... My husband is looking at the wines and the lady (must be owner, as her pic is on their website) says, "what brings you to Folsom". We live in Folsom and in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood that we worked VERY hard to buy. We are educated and have great careers. (Strike one) my husband says, " O, I live in Folsom" and she turns to the other gal in the store and rolls her eyes. Like at-least wait until he is out the door to second guess or judge my husband. Having tattoos and being a brown man with tattoos doesn't mean we DON'T live in Folsom and even if we didn't - who cares! Have you ever watched pretty woman.. big mistake! Shouldn't treat people like that.

Stopped by today while visiting the Folsom craft fair. The staff was really friendly and they had a good selection of wines. We tried a Red wine tasting that included six pours for $15 dollars. Each of the wines tasted good. Prices were average and they had a large selection of wines for purchase. The inside of the store was a little dusty especially the wine bottle display on the wall. The store decor was shaby chic which I really liked. Over all I was very happy with the experience and will stop by again on our next visit to Folsom.

Love this place. Friendly, unpretentious, and juicy Foothills Reds! You'll have a blast tasting here.

Our first and certainly not last visit to Crystal Basin Station in Historic Folsom! We joined their wine club a few years back after a super fun Yelp Elite event including a behind the scenes tour and opportunity to make our own blend of red wine. It had been a while since we took delivery of our club shipment so we decided to check out their "new" (to us) tasting room in Old Folsom. Plus, we were lured by the Mourvedre flight offering. Loved this prime location! Not sure what - you know, besides a global pandemic - took us so long! We'll definitely be back.

The people serving are so gracious, fun and inviting. They're very generous in their pours and you will find a wine (maybe a few) you have to take home!
