I visited here for the first time 2 weeks ago for lunch. The beer "could" have been a lot colder, but the exceptional service and tasty food more than made up for it.
I attempted to visit today. Walk in, sit, wait 5 minutes while the bartender chats with guests, realize that maybe he did not see us. Visit the bar asking for a menu, they do not have a cook. No food.
That's cool, I get it. It's difficult to find good people.
Why was there a 5 minute wait of being ignored before this was discovered? He saw us walk in, why not say hi, why not acknowledge our existence?
I am saddened how bad it was today. 5 stars for the food and service, 1 for the lack of everything today. Still, we can do better!

Had the pleasure of meeting the amazingly hilarious bartender Elizabeth while we stopped at this bar on our way back home. Had an delicious chili dog, couple of stiff drinks, and a good laugh in a comfortable laid-back environment. Bartender super cool and patrons friendly. Would definitely recommend this bar

I had the Irish dumplings at Dolan's not very good they came out cold. They don't have the same sauce the flaky pepper sauce and the meat by itself doesn't have much flavor. I thought they were getting a new chef and a new menu bummer that's why I like going there for good

This review is based upon 2 visits to Dolan's. My first visit was to just check it out, so I had fries, Guinness and a shot of Irish whiskey. Second time, I brought a friend and we split the beet salad (BEYOND delicious, especially for a bar!), and we split the empanadas that were on special (also very good!). We got to meet Mike Dolan and Cookie, who made us feel like instant regulars. I ended up ordering their old world corned beef and beet salad to take home to.the husband. Oh, and for drinks this tome, we had martinis, and the bartender made them perfectly! (My friend wasn't a fan of them until she tried one here...go figure!)I'm so happy to know I have a neighborhood hang out that not only has good drinks (and assortment), but also great folks, and delicious food!

Ordered lunch to go. The Gumbo is amazing. I highly recommend if you like the spice, seafood and chicken combination. Only rated it that because it wasn't a good size portion for the amount paid. ? I actually wanted more, as good as it tasted. Their garlic bread was good! Almost like it had a hint of anchovies. If you don't like spicy, texture, or need it to look appealing you probably wouldn't rate it the way I had rate it. But it was actually good for me.

Got the Cajun chicken sandwich, the bartender Kristin is amazing! Regardless of the people who couldn’t handle their drink, she maintained a positive attitude. Great service and great food!! Can’t wait to come
