What a delightful restaurant! Everything we tried was fresh and yummy. Very dog friendly, large outdoor patio, extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, food was eclectic and made fresh to order.

My husband and I went in for lunch today. We had our 2 mini schnauzers with us so when I saw that they were dog friendly on yelp it was a perfect time to check it out. We were greeted immediately by the owner and she showed us to the patio. She quickly brought our dogs water bowls which was so nice of her. They are definitely animal lovers there. everything on the menu looked great! I decided on the lobster roll and chowder and my husband got the Bob Dole burger. We never pass up a pretzel and cheese beer so we had that too. The pretzel was fresh and perfectly made! I could eat one those everyday! The lobster roll was amazing! Perfect in size and so much lobster meat packed into it. The flavor was perfection and the roll, omg, best roll I think I’ve ever had! They had a few house made chips on the plate too. Let me tell you, you’ll want a whole basket! Their light and crisp and whatever seasoning they use on them was so good I’m still wanting more! My husband burger was huge, juicy and very flavorful. To top it all off she brought out 2 plates of Michelin star rated, dog treats that they make in house. My boys loved it! I mean the way he plated it made my heart sing! It was so nice to be able to bring our dogs and have them treated so well. For that alone we’d be back but the extremely personably attention from the staff and the amazing food will also bring us back! I’m hoping to turn this place into a weekly outing with our fur babies! Thank you for a wonderful lunch today!🐾❤️

Stopped by for lunch, the AC was broken.. not a great start. The waitress could be called friendly, but I thought she wanted to talk our ears off. Food was good but basic. Nothing that I can't make at home.

There was a group of teenagers in the corner that were laughing the entire 30 to 45 minutes we were there singing their ABC’s it must’ve been related to whoever owned or worked at ThePlace because both of the waitress and the cook came in converse with them at least 3 to 4 times while we were there, never asking them to be quiet all while wheel of Fortune was playing on the big TV while Thursday night football was playing. I ordered the most expensive thing on the menu and was told that I could not have it without mayonnaise. I also asked for several other things and was told no and no no substitute answer come here if you’re starving and you do not have the means to walk or drive anywhere else. Besides my girlfriend, sweet potato fries, being burnt and terrible. My fries were actually pretty great.

Seemingly everything on the menu looked great! I picked the crawfish hush puppies!!!! So delicious 😋!!!! I also went with the pastrami! So very tender and flavorful! The rye bread was not overpowering, which made it pretty much impossible to not eat it all!!!!

Just what we needed, a quaint personable place with delicious food. It was a bummer that we didn't get to take advantage of the free bag of "crack" as apparently none had been made. Overall, I loved coming to grab a bite here. I hope we get a chance to return soon!

Delicious food! The crab wontons are amazing. We also had the lamb burger and the lobster roll, death sentence burger, and puppy bites. Don't sleep on the sweet potato fries or onion rings, either. Everything was delicious and filling. Service was so nice and friendly! They gave our toddler some goldfish while our food was cooking. Red Bus Brewing options on tap. The whole theme is also hilarious, what attention to detail!
Vegetarian options: Bean burger option
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of high chairs, goldfish for hungry toddlers, and if the kiddos are well behaved, they get an otter pop at the end!

Burgers are outstanding. Made of ground brisket and short rib meat. Rye bread on the patty melt was great and brought the sandwich to the next level. Fries are beautifully seasoned and delicious. Onion rings are real onions with a super-crispy cornstarch-type coating (as opposed to corn meal). Lobster roll was very tasty. Service was super friendly and attentive. Patio seating was nice and quiet. Very reasonably priced considering the high quality of the food. Can’t miss with this place!
