An amazing four course prix fixe chef's Valentine's Day special meal. Only one seating per night's reservation, and 40 seats in the house. Book early. Our dinner reservation was at 6:00PM, but dinner service commenced at 6:30pm, until then we were invited to choose an appetizer and cocktail or other beverage. We opted for the filet mignon crostini (simply amazing!), my wife enjoyed a strawberry martini, while I had a nice pour of Justin Cabernet Sauvignon. When dinner arrived, 1st course was a date salad, followed by the 2nd course: an angel hair pasta, the 3rd course this evening had an option of two, so my wife chose a filet mignon perfectly seared and flavorful atop asparagus spears with a bearnaise sauce (atop the filet was a hefty serving of cooked crab); whereas I enjoyed Japanese A+ Wagyu and served with a lobster tail and asparagus spears and bearnaise sauce. The 4th course: dessert was freshly made red velvet cake with a hand-dipped chocolate-covered strawberry. Simply amazing. At the beginning of the meal, Shelby (the owner) introduced the staff, their history, and the chef - who talked about what he prepared. There is also a wine pairing with each serving, and the pour volumes are plentiful, enough to share. We also received valentine 2026 marked poker chips, as there are special meals made for chip holders. So, it pays to join their newsletter and stay atop upcoming dining events. Fourk demonstrates exceptional service with matching cuisine that you might expect from a Michelin-star rated site, but it's here in Folsom and you don't have to drive into Sacramento to indulge in such an experience. Though your attendance, you will learn about the history of their name. It's out Fourking-standing!

We have been here many times and always have a great time. We really noticed the updated floor and decor - it looks great! The bar is amazing and so are the wine list and cocktails. But we go for the FOOD. Feels very personalized and not rushed.

Generally phenomenal. The pork belly they served tonight was the best I’ve ever had. However, we went for my wife’s birthday and she said her hanger steak was really chewy. The cut itself usually isn’t the most tender cut so I figured she just didn’t care for the cut. So she didn’t finish it, and I had her box it up for me. I tried it later tonight, and it was incredibly chewy. Almost like the entire thing was silver skin or something. It was nothing like what I had in the restaurant. Idk what was wrong with it, but there was something wrong with that piece of meat.
I also don’t recommend the raspberry pistachio nut zero proof cocktail. Just wasn’t something I enjoyed.
Everything else was phenomenal. Every other time we’ve gone the food was generally very good.

Enjoyed the four-course meal at Fourk - well worth the price! The space is on the smaller side and the experience is very intimate where the staff welcomes everyone, introduces themselves, and presents an overview of the evening's dining experience. Wine and cocktail list are reasonably priced. Would visit again!

I signed up in the beginning of October for the menu! It was our first time there. I was shocked that it said the Halloween Menu! Nobody reached out to let me know! I would have cancelled and booked for a different Month. Most of the food was lacking flavor and seasonings. Also the ratios were off. For example, there was 4 tablespoons of mashed potatoes and a small short rib and a cup of sauce. The sauce looked and tasted not very good. Would I go there again maybe? Would I recommend this to someone? Not as of now?

Now let's talk food!! The chef here is absolutely amazing. The combination of flavors he comes up with are excellent. Each time we dine here we delighted in the wonderful courses.
