I will start off by saying the experience was great. And the staff especially the Manger were extremely professional and welcoming. However, the food could have been a lot better. I see the potential in it but tonight was a bit rough. The "happy hour" before the start of the dining experience was fine. We started off with a small pour of wine, which was great. We did have to ask our server what it was cause he didn't explain it at all. We also tried the charcuterie board and just realized, tonight, what one of my new pet peeves is... when the server explains absolutely nothing about the board I am going to eat. What cheese is this? Is this ham or bologna? Oh, there's nuts here and what is that a cranberry jam? A figure it out for yourself board, nice!The sangria, though, was fantastic, a little thick and not sure what made it a smoothie like texture, but it was good. Our salad came which was fine. The lobster bisk I was really looking forward to, but it was at best luke warm and had random spots of almost ice cold. I just imagined I was eating gazpacho. The deconstructed beef wellington was okay. Pretty rare but I was okay with it but the lack of flavor was the issue. I did see the server bring out salt and pepper to another table which I should've asked for as well.The peppermint cheese cake was just okay as well. When the cook comes out to tell you about the meals and says that he just melted candy canes on top of the cheese cake, well it takes away from the mystery of how the "sausage is made."Over all meh, especially for dishing out $100 per person. If another dish sounds good we might try again. I, however, will look somewhere else first.

This was our first time at Fourk. The food was outstanding, wine pairing was spot on, service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was comfortable. The noise level was low enough that we could have a conversation at the table. I can't wait to come back and bring a group of friends.

Great atmosphere, intimate, excellent food and FUN. We did the reserve wine pairing and thought it was excellent. They accommodated my husband being gluten free. Although I'd challenge you to do a gluten free pasta instead of rice but overall it was fine. For the money, it was definitely worth it! We will be back! Thank you for an awesome time with our friends!

Love the idea. Ambiance was inviting classy and comfortable. Staff very friendly. Food... When serving wings they should either be deep fried or baked on racks and turned once. In general flavor was lacking. Favorite things were some quick pickled cherry/onions that went with the appetizer and the peach spiced honey caprese. Wine flight was pleasant. Overall the food was disappointing.
Where do I start? This restaurant is maybe 1 step above Dennys. The chicken parmesan with spaghetti tasted like spaghetti O's. The meal was cold and the cheese was hard... not even melted. Everything else was subpar as well. Would not recommend this restaurant at all. They also charge a 20% tip which was not deserved. Service was average definitely not 20% deserved. They had their dishwasher telling us about the appetizers and she didn't even know what they were...lol. We actually felt bad for them but knew they needed our feedback to improve. After we gave them the feedback not even the manager or the so called chef came over to address the negative feedback. This restaurant is kind of a joke. Honestly you will get better food at DennysI wouldn't waste your time or money.

For a 68th birthday celebration we chose to go to Fourk Kitchen in Folsom. Got there at 5:30 for happy hour and ordered flatbread appetizers with goat cheese, fig chili and prosciutto and the second with brie, prosciutto and pear. Appetizers were exquisite. We chose wine pairings with our meal and so pleased we did. Chef Todd prepared each of the four courses exquisitely. Shelby and staff were engaging, informative and accommodating. I drove up from the central coast to celebrate my dear friend's birthday. We had a joyful experience and recommend this veteran owned business to all who enjoy good food. This is a treasure.

Super fun experience! We enjoyed dining in a small, intimate setting. As others have mentioned, it is a four-course fixed menu. The menu changes monthly. At the last minute, my guest was not able to join me at Fourk due to becoming ill. Another friend accepted my last minute, like one hour before seating time, invitation. When you make your reservations online, you are asked if there are any food preferences or allergies. My original guest had no food allergies. However my last minute guest cannot eat diary. The staff and chef were extremely accommodating and even though they had no prior notice, they creating or modified entrees meeting my guest's food restrictions. All of the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The four staff were all friendly, personable, attentive, and professional. I will definitely be back!
