Today we had lunch at Islands and while the food and the staff was friendly enough it was a disappointing experience. We were taken to two different tables as the staff was trying to keep everyone 6' apart, not a big deal but they could have been prepared for that. The hostess brought us to a table and said our waitress would be there shortly. Didn't leave any type of menu, paper or otherwise for us. Islands is a very family friendly, local restaurant. They have a large menu, with the highlight being their burgers. Unfortunately when I received my burger last time, they had put too much sauce on it which made it very messy to eat. I only ended up being able to eat half of it because of this. The decorations, while unique, could use a little updating. The service is always very polite. It's always great eating here, it's just easy to forget.
Great food. Loved the burgers. They are big and delicious. The staff is wonderful. Everyone was very upbeat and nice. Great for kids too. Took two 9 year olds and they loved it. Awesome atmosphere in the place too.
