This place seems to have some potential. I went in for trivia, and I had a good time playing, even though we didn't win. But the service was less than mediocre. I felt as if I was an inconvenience to the server. I ordered a cocktail that was delivered right away, but I didn't see my server for another 45 minutes. I eventually went to order from the bar to have nobody to take my order. I thought that maybe they had gone on strike. I gave up on the barstaff and went back to my seat. Waited again for about 15 minutes until I was finally asked if I would like another drink. I didn't receive my next drink for another 10 minutes. This place was not that busy, and I saw no reason for the long wait time. When the trivia game ended, my server immediately dropped the bill on my table, assuming that I would not want to stay for anything else. She won. I left. And I may give this place another chance because I would like to try the food. Hopefully, my next visit will be better.

Visited J. Wilds for a dinner with my extended family as we were passing through the area on the way back from a wedding. While alcohol was speedy for those who ordered drinks, our food took ages. When it finally arrived half of the table’s order and part of mine weren’t ready. Eventually those with food went ahead and ate and could basically finish their meal before after multiple reminders the staff were able to procure the rest of the food. They did comp half of our bill but then to top it all off I got food poisoning from this meal and felt sick for a few hours until I lost my cookies. ?

I have been to J. Wild's for Monday night trivia a few times now, and the service is sub-optimal at best. The older lady that has served us every time rarely comes around to check on our table throughout the game. In the span of an hour and a half, we were only able to order from her on two seperate occasions. I actually had to get her attention to have her to come over the second time, and she seemed put out by having to take another order from us. I shouldn't be having to hunt down my server just to get another drink. She came around one final time when I was ready to order again, but it was to drop off the bill for our table. This was prior to trivia even being over. We were never asked if there was anything else we wanted to order before she closed us out. This has happened multiple times now. The atmosphere in the restaurant is wonderful, and the food is decent, but the service is always incredibly frustrating to deal with.

I have never done this, but I wrote notes about every poor part about dining here, as it got comical how bad it was. To summarize an extremely long list: We sat in a dark corner with no silverware or sauces. All 6 food items we ordered had something wrong and needed to be remade (incorrect toppings, etc. as well as an extra 20 minute wait), were delivered late and cold, and/or were grossly overpriced ($18 shrimp pasta, with 4 small pieces of shrimp). The server was extremely slow, did not ask us for drink orders, and never kept up with us, excluding the multiple times we flagged her down to report an issue. However, I can say that the food is good. Not anything great, but better than mediocre. I think the service and prices kill this place as a solid option. Perhaps you can get a good server, order worthwhile options, and have a good experience, but why? There are many other options available and I don’t think risking the massive inconveniences is worth it. This place is a better comedy club than restaurant; the service was genuinely hilarious.

Very disappointing, I hate being “that guy”, but I have worked in the restaurant industry for 30+ years. Slow to get waters, appetizer was decent. Fries with queso sauce and pulled pork. My son loved the burger but my bbq bowl with brisket was all fat. Server never came to check the entire meal, had she checked, I could have said something. Had to flag server down for refill on water. Cups were empty by the time we were done with our meal. Waited quite some time for my check and waited for my change. Just felt like the entire section was being overlooked, other tables had to get up and get their own napkins and silverware. Bottles of bbq sauce were gross and slimy when I went to touch them. If the section isn’t clean, what’s going on in the kitchen?Was looking forward to a good meal and left hungry and disappointed.

Wifes burger was not cooked, cold inside, ribs were reheated, our orders were served 15 minutes apart, drinks were good. Will go back to give it another chance, staff was friendly.

Brisket was DRY and cold, server brought out wrong order came back with missing pieces of order Mac and cheese has no cheese, Cole slaw is sour.. I'm highly disappointed will not be returning. I will say that they compensated by giving us a discount but man i didn't finish my plate. The cornbread was really good but thats it.
