I’ve given this place multiple chances to make up for their crappy service but today was the day I said I would write a review.
If you go inside don’t be surprised when you’re not acknowledged for at least 3-5 minutes. The last 3 visits I wasn’t even spoken too even when multiple employees saw me. Not sure what their deal is, sensing some prejudice to certain types of people.
Then if you order, don’t make one mistake on the name of the food or description or you will be rudely corrected. Don’t defend yourself unless you want the cashier to argue with you.
If there was another Jimboy in Folsom I would drive further so I didn’t have to deal with the bad service.
They also really don’t like when you order their $1 Large Fountain Drink deal. Not sure why they have it if they don’t want people to order it.
I’ll be hopeful that the next visit might go better. Poor service is the reason this place is empty every time I show up. So many better service options in the immediate area.

Great tacos at the Roseville, CA location. 5 stars for sure. It was clean and well stocked with a variety of salsa. Friendly staff.
The Placerville, CA location, 1 star. It was empty, yet dirty, it was hard to find a clean table. There was no salsa out at all. When I asked for salsa what I was given looked gelatinous, not fresh and had an acid taste. There was also what looked like an employee's child hanging out in the dining room entertaining himself with his tablet.
I'm glad I went to the Roseville location first or I would not have tried Jimboy's a second time. Overall, it's hit or miss.

I've been here a few times, last night ordered from door dash. 6 ground beef tacos were cold, they forgot all the sauces, after eating one taco my stomach felt strange then I started cramping up and vomiting! Cold sweats ad chills while getting up to vomit 3 times last night! I never had the stomach pain like this ever!

Dont go through drive through!!! After no response and sitting for several minutes until car in back honked and car in front got to window I drove to window only to be told to get in line again. I had already been waiting long enough for 4 cars ahead of me to get food. Very RUDE woman at window. Will not go back to this location!!!

Jimboy's is one of my few favorite spots to grab fast and delicious Mexican food. Tacos, taquitos, burritos and the queso and chips were all fire. Their salsas are all delicious. Who doesn't like a crispy taco with parmesan cheese sprinkled or rolled onto the outer crispy shell?
The enchilada plate was very good. That enchilada sauce taste like its been cooking all day. It comes with salad (good avocado cilantro type dressing), beans (fire), rice (yummy).and the beef enchiladas were on point. Horchata is our favorite drink here. But, the Jamaica is right up there with on-pointness.

The food was good. Especially coming from Boise, Idaho. A little heads up on the closing time it was still before 9 pm which I wanted to dine in real quickly. Luckily the drive-thru was still open.
My wife and I enjoy getting the taco plate,For the last 3 years I've tried pretty much everything on their menu so if you like Mexican food give it a try
