Leatherby's - Family Creamery

Took my family this past Sat and once we were sat at a table no one came to take our order. We waited 20 min before we decided to leave after watching everyone around us get service except us.

Been here a few times. Disappointing. Prices extremely high ($5 for a single scoop cup and $18 for a sandwich?). My girlfriend and I both agreed the burgers were not good especially for the price. The patty tasted steamed or microwaved and everything about the meal reminded me of food from school lunch in the 90's.

The club sandwich was decent but the ice cream doesn't seem as good as it used to be. The pistachio ice cream almost seemed a bit gummy. Also, the server asked if we wanted ranch with our fries and we said sure. There was a 99¢ charge on our bill for a tiny cup of ranch which was not disclosed (neither verbally or on the menu). That seems a bit deceiving.

Not trying to be rude to the owners. I think this is fair criticism considering a burger is hard to mess up. I can tell this is either Sysco or US Foods sourced ingredients so when you have In n Out a 1/4 mile away, you have to either reduce the price or use higher quality ingredients.

I see others complained of my issues as well so I'll check back next summer and decide if I want to give it another try, probably only with a Groupon.

Would recommend [during evening times], if you're not getting a specialty ice cream order, to order to-go instead of dining in. The reason is because of all the high schoolers that come in the evenings.

Parking: ONLY during BUSY hours is when parking is a bit far from the restaurant. During regular hours, there should be enough parking near the creamery.

Way way way overpriced. Food was cold and movie theater quality. The messiest ice cream sundays I’ve ever seen. I would have liked to enjoy the hot fudge ON my ice cream instead of on the extra plate the ice cream cup comes on. Everything sticky. Our server was fine, but nothing great. Imagine my shock when I saw the total for two people was over $70 for such garbage food. The vibe was pretty creepy. The names of all their items made me uneasy. Won’t be back. I wish we had just gone to Sonic

I love leatherby’s ice cream, it’s homemade and so delicious and creamy. The homemade sauces are also just so good. Their sundaes are quite big so I usually share with someone. My favorite is the Black snd Tan. They are also open late which is very nice!

I travel and eat out frequently. I have NEVER experienced such horrible service in my life. I'm a waitress myself, I'm forgiving, I get how it is sometimes. When you don't acknowledge, smile, or at the VERY LEAST ask how your guests are doing that is absolutely not okay. I will never be back because of how horrible I was treated by "Jojo"
