Great wine from the South Fork of the Trinity River at the southern tip of Trinity County, in the Hyampom Valley. But the tasting room is now on Sutter Street in Folsom! The owner, grower, and wine maker is Ray Merlo, who we have known for years, as happy customers and wine club members. Ray is a perfect gentlemen to all, IMHO, as we've always observed. All the wines are superb, too!

Wine was ok, a little over priced for what you get. My big issue is Ray, the owner doubled charged me for my membership fees and it took me 9 months to get him to admit it. Worse he did nothing to compensate me for my troubles. Obviously I cancelled my membership and he continued to bill me. I was forced to change my cc and he’s still billing me. I wouldn’t recommend this company.

The wine is excellent! My personal favorite is the Blackbird but I’ve tried them all and was impressed. The service was great as always! This is not our first time and won’t be our last. The owner was great and gave great info on each wine.

Have not been to their tasting room but I'm a fan of their wines! Especially like the Blackbird blend of 50/50 Zin and Syrah. Tight and well structured red wine with good varietal characteristics. Moves well across the food spectrum: steaks, ribs, sushi, pork tenderloin, etc.
