We love stopping by NuYo Frozen Yogurt in Folsom—it's become a bit of a ritual for us, especially after dinner at Thai Paradise, which is right across the lot. NuYo is always clean, inviting, and has a great selection of flavors and toppings.
One of the biggest pluses for me is that they consistently offer two non-dairy yogurt flavors, side-by-side in the same machine, which makes choosing (and swirling!) easy. That’s not something I can always count on at other frozen yogurt places.
I usually go for the fruit-based toppings—fresh fruit, coconut flakes, maybe some nuts—while my husband heads straight for the cheesecake bites and cookie dough. 😄 We each get exactly what we like, and the self-serve topping bar makes it fun and personal every time.
The staff is friendly, and it never feels rushed or chaotic. Just a great little spot for a sweet treat—especially for folks like me who are dairy-free. Highly recommend!

While this place is conveniently located in the Broadstone marketplace, it is severely overpriced for what you get, it isn’t gelato, or anything of top tier to be paying top tier prices. None of the add on snacks are labeled and the selection of frozen yogurt is rather limited to basic flavors with the exception of one or two. It would also be nice if the pearls were actually of tapioka boba origin instead of just being filled with juice, otherwise it’s a clean and safe environment, and easy to find!
Pros: clean, safe, friendly staff
Cons: overpriced, small selection of froyo, confusing snack bar
