Really great food and auditoriums

The seats are not comfortable. I had a bar in my back when reclined. The bar service was so slow it took over an hour to have a mocktail delivered, the popcorn was meh--no butter which was requested. Out of all the women's bathroom stalls only 2 were clean. Very disappointing. We go to the movies often and will not return to this theater.

7 years ago I rated the Palladio Luxe 5 stars out of 5 stars. Ever since Covid in 2020 the service and experience at the Luxe has been declining year after year. Today 01/03/2026 my wife and I went to see the latest Avitar movie. The wife said the women's rest room was dirty and uncleaned, hand soap refills just sitting on the counter trash on the floor and counter top. Our little tables at our seat where dirty and there was trash in one of our seats. I had to walk out to the bar to get help with that and again later. There was an open ceiling panels above our seats and when I told staff about that they said it should be okay. If you want food delivered to your seats you now have to order it when you buy your tickets or within 30 minutes of the movie starting. After 30 minutes the order app stops working and the QR code on the table says you can't order food delivered until after 3pm. Our move was over by 2:45pm. I had to walk out to the Bar to get any help with our popcorn and root bear order. I saw only 3 maybe 4 employees in the 3 hrs we where there. I called later in the evening to talk to a manager and left a voice mail but never heard back from them. Not sure if we will be going back anytime soon. The Luxe used to be the only Theater we would go to and that was because of the great service and facility's they had. Now not so much..

Parking was convenient, Food was outrageously overpriced and might make you sick. No options for a glass of water, and fountain drinks for 20 ounces cost $10 with no refills. I had to go up to the front desk to ask them to clean the bathrooms because there was no soap in the men’s bathroom. Overall, may the odds be ever in your favor when you see a three hour movie with terrible food nothing to drink and no place to actually wash your hands.

What happened to LUXE?! Had a child free night and went with my wife to enjoy a drink and a movie. Bartender was on her phone and told us to scan the QR code for any service. While we sat down, there was a manager refunding someone for food they never received during their movie. Walk into our theater and it’s completely dark (15 min before start time) and I had to ask someone to turn on the monitor. Going to the movies is about the EXPERIENCE! Do the staff feel like they are valued? Have they found people who care about their job? If owners don’t care then shut it down or find management who can make the theater a positive experience. It wasn’t a luxe experience but rather uxe. I took the L home after my experience

Update: one of their managers responded to this and asked me to email them. I did and nothing

This theater used to be fun to go to. Serve you food that wasn’t terrible and you just press a button on your seat and they would come and fill your drink or take another order.
Now…..
There was nobody at the front to scan our ticket. Had to wait - it smelled bad when I walked into the theater - they started the movie 7 minutes early and we hadn’t ordered yet. It took a half hour to bring one large popcorn and a soda to my seat. They don’t even have large drinks so my 20oz drink ($10.00 BTW) was gone in a flash - they don’t check on you so you have to get up and leave the movie and hunt someone down to get a refill which seemed to be an inconvenience for the worker. The things that were special about this theater are gone.

I had a really disappointing experience at the movie theater last night. My food never arrived, and when I asked Miles, the manager, for help, he didn’t seem to care at all. It felt like the staff was just going through the motions and didn’t want to be there. Honestly, if things don’t change, I wouldn’t be surprised if this place struggles to stay in business.

I was excited to try a “luxurious” movie theater for a date night. I was impressed when walking in with the interior but I was soon met with major disappointment. We went on a Thursday, the restrooms were unkept. Dirty floors and no working soap dispenser. Soap refills were left on the counter top, not even put back into the dispenser. We were excited to try out the experience of being brought food and drinks to our seats. However, we placed our order before the show time and it took well over 30 minutes into the movie before we got our drinks. Don’t even get me started on how we never received our popcorn. An hour into the movie, I pressed the service button multiple times but no one ever came. I left the movie to find a worker. I approached two workers at the bar and told them I was inquiring about my food order. I explained I ordered popcorn a hour ago and never received it. The workers proceeded to tell me “oh yeah she’s in the back making it from scratch.” …A straight up lie. It takes an hour to make popcorn from scratch? What is the kitchen doing, picking corn from the fields? Absolutely not. Anyways, another hour later. No popcorn. I left the movie one more time and decided to just get a refund. The assistant manager just gave me an insincere sorry and refund. He didn’t care about providing customer service. Explains why they have workers who don’t care about providing a good experience. Two hours for popcorn that never came is crazy but the fact that the workers felt the need to lie to me about my order was more of an insult. Wouldn’t come back here again. Would rather spend my money going to a regular theater to grab my own popcorn and drinks. Cheaper too that way. Don’t come here unless you want to be met with disappointment.

Honestly kinda sad how much this place has gone downhill. Tried to give this place a few chances this year as it’s always been our favorite place to see a movie, but the experience just doesn’t justify the price anymore.

First it was a movie starting 20 min late and having customers stand outside the theater because the staff was still cleaning. Then it was never receiving a 3-drink order (to be delivered to our seats), walking down to the bar an hour and a half into the movie, and having the bartender say, “oh yeah… we don’t have any of those drinks.” No explanation for why that wasn’t communicated or “oh that was our bad, here’s what I can get you instead”— most bizarre customer service interaction I’ve probably ever had. Then it was playing the wrong movie for a solid 5 minutes, before several customers had to go inform management, and waiting another 25-30 minutes before the right film began playing. Then it was taking 2 hours to receive a poorly constructed room temp hamburger.

Just a bummer because the concept is so solid (and the experience used to be great) but there’s clearly been a major management/staffing change over the last few years— and these issues haven’t improved at all through the last several months. Really don’t see this place lasting much longer if they continue operating like this, I know we likely won’t be returning.

Favorite place to see a movie. Love the bar and the food is decent. I liked having a reserved seat.

What happened to the Lux at Palladio LUXE Cinema?

Isn’t the day after Christmas one of the biggest movie-going days of the year? Apparently not here.

We went to Palladio LUXE Cinema for the first time in a while, and honestly—wow. Whatever made this place “LUXE” is gone.

From the moment we walked in, the vibe felt off. The bar was empty, the space felt uninspired, and nothing about it said holiday, special, or experience. We arrived an hour early specifically to enjoy a drink and some food before the movie. That’s when things really went downhill.

No Chardonnay. None.
No sparkling wine either.
At a “luxury” cinema. Really?

Then we were handed a beat-up piece of paper with a QR code on it for the menu. No physical menu, no presentation, no effort. This is not the place I remember.

At that point, we cut our losses. We skipped the movie we had already paid for and left. We went to Iron Horse Tavern instead and actually had a real drink and decent food—what we were hoping for in the first place.

The entire “experience” that once set this theater apart is gone. No charm. No attention to detail. No Lux.

Honestly, this may have been the final nail in the coffin for going to the movies at all. Disappointing doesn’t even begin to cover it.

It’s Christmas and this theater’s servers went down the night before… so they lost the prepaid ticket reservations our family of four had. When I get to the theater instead of just simply apologizing and saying “terribly sorry we have made a mistake, let me give you a refund and offer you some free tickets or to comp you for the $10 ice tea you just bought to the movie you can no longer see…”, I started to get a long explanation of what was going on without the important information of: no seats for you.

I don’t care why your company lost my prepaid tickets; I don’t really care you didn’t have a backup server which makes your corporate headquarters decision making skills questionable. When it’s clearly your company’s fault and you can’t honor our agreement: just come out and tell me the situation and make it right, don’t waste my time. If it is the manager or the corporate headquarters’s policy that the best thing they can do when they can’t fix the problem is to waste more of my time and tell me we can get a refund then you will continue to get 1-star reviews.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
