This is really a hidden gem, best dumplings I’ve had in a long time. All dumplings are made by hand and are very delicious. Seeing is believing, and I saw the lady making the dumplings. I ordered wonton soup, which was very tasty. My wife ordered steamed dumplings that was delicious, and I ordered the fried dumplings. My wife also ordered Ube steamed buns 😁. The pickled cucumbers wasn’t spicy, but was flavorful. ( I can’t eat a lot of spicy foods) every once in awhile is ok. I took home my fried dumplings some of my wife’s steamed dumplings and the pickled cucumbers for an add on for our evening meal. From where I was sitting I could see Folsom Dam. Traveling 10 miles for some delicious dumpling was worth the distance.

Best dumplings, great spot to check out for a cool new spot! Sweetest people work there. It's a go-to any time I visit Folsom I make a point to go here!!! No regrets ever. And superb left overs!

Finally went here and I am sad we waited so long. Awesome food at great prices. Pork soup dumplings are stellar! Everything we ordered was great. Go here!

I had the pork & cabbage dumplings while my wife had the tofu and chives. We also shared the spring rolls and a cucumber salad.

Great place the food was delicious! I ended up waiting about 15 minutes for the food to be brought out on a Saturday night. I even asked for soup on the side and they gave me some without charging me. Although the soup was a little bland the place was amazing

Hometown Dumpling is hands down one of the best places I’ve ever eaten at. The dumplings are perfectly handmade, bursting with fresh ingredients, and cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I especially loved the pork and chive dumplings and the spicy wontons, which had just the right amount of kick. The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Whether you're dining in or taking out, you can taste the love and tradition in every bite. Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic, delicious dumplings!

I ordered the pork shrimp &chives boiled dumplings and the pork shrimp mushroom steamed dumplings. They were really good! Skin wrap and filling were prepared well and tasty. Definitely will be going there more!

I'm so glad I finally stopped by this little dumpling shop I've passed by so often driving from Roseville to Folsom! I had their wonton soup along with an order of BBQ buns. Both items had that wholesome homemade quality that reminded me of things my mom would make. With so many places going a bit overboard with the salt and seasonings, I'm pleasantly surprised that this was not the case here. The wontons and BBQ buns were pleasantly savory without being over flavored. I would definitely come back to try their other items!

I hope this place makes it because they have very tasty dumplings! We were there on a Friday at lunch and there wasn't much of a crowd. If you live on this side of the river or by the dam, they are an excellent choice, for takeout if nothing else.
