I had a great experience at Poppy’s BBQ. The food was seriously good. The wings were amazing. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and a good smoke flavored.
The atmosphere was just as impressive. It had that relaxed, welcoming BBQ vibe that makes you want to sit, eat, and actually enjoy your time there. They also have a great selection of beer on tap, which made the whole experience even better. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Plus plenty of TVs to watch sports.
If you are looking for solid BBQ, a great atmosphere, great wings, and good drinks, Poppy’s BBQ is definitely worth checking out. I will absolutely be back.

First time trying BBQ in Folsom and it didn’t disappoint. Went there originally to watch a football game but was pleasantly surprised to encounter excellent BBQ. I definitely recommend trying this place out if you’re in the area.

This is the place for same day smoked ribs, however the service is a bit suspect. They favor the regulars and friends to the detriment of the new comers which says something about the business from the growth perspective.

We came to this spot because Mia our bartender recommended. & it’s 10/10! The barbecue was so good & flavorful! The bbq sauces are good especially the spicy one. Sides are delicious & drinks are great. The place wasn’t too busy which was good so we don’t have to wait. But definitely come try the food first! Will come back very soon.

This is a local bbq place. Good food. Great service and a sports bar vibe. They have a full bar and good beers on tap. Meats are solid with brisket being my favorite, followed by pulled pork and then ribs. Jalapeño Mac & Cheese was tasty. Fried pickles were not dilly enough for my taste, but try for yourself.
