The bouncer is a racist individual. The bartender is OK. The bouncer was rude and drove our group out of the place. He told us he did not want to see us back. Our group was not noisy. We went there for a drink, just to relax. We are a polite group, and we were not loud. We were there at 7pm and the place was quite empty. Please do not support businesses that are racist.

This place is always so much fun! We typically go to Power House to hear the bands, with all the other 40 & 50 yr old’ Generation Xer’s, but then sneak on over to Scarlett’s between sets, hoping not to rum into our daughters! 😩 Especially if we end up on the stage! 🙄 The best OG music, the cutest’ far too young boys! But for a little while we go back in time, and dance like we did in our 20’s, thinking we are much cooler than we are! 🥴😩🙃 So much Fun, and the best patio and Martini’s in Folsom!

I am not going to deny that it’s a fun place, great music, excellent live bands . Unfortunately the kind of people that have started to frequent and come here are the worst. There are decent, nice people as well. But those that have no respect, no manners, and don’t care about anyone else around are terrible. My friend along with other women and I had to experience what a stupid guy decided was fun… he was aroused and rubbed his privates on us while we were having fun. I felt assaulted, it was disgusting. His three friends were encouraging him and I told security about his actions and behavior and he immediately got kicked out along with his friends because one of these other guys licked a girl unprovoked. The Powerhouse’s security acted fast and accordingly, I can’t thank them enough. This is terrible and horrible. This shouldn't happen in a place where you’re going to have fun and dance. It’s sad to see what this has become and they don’t have control of the type of people they let in. To all the women: don’t stay quiet, speak up, don’t allow this type of behavior. I saw this happening to different women and no one said anything or reported them, only that other one girl that got licked, thank you 🙏 for speaking up and not allowing this type of behavior.

It's a bit pricey and security needs some training. Women shouldn't be patting down men and vice versa, but I know their goal is to keep things safe. Overall, it's a fun, high energy place, and bar staff does a good job. 4.5/5
