I am not a huge poster, and only do this when something really steps over the line from a really good experience to a truly great experience. There is a lot of good to great moves with Riley's taking over Hacienda, but my focus will be on Chef David's elevation of the food experience at Riley's. Chef David has added a burger, the Campagna Waygu burger, that quite literally could be the best burger in the Greater Sacramento area. Don't think it is only about this burger, all their food has been significantly elevated with Chef David at the helm in the kitchen. However, the Campagna is a masterpiece, with a near perfect compostion with the bun, patty, fixings, and sauces exquisitely paired in perfect proportion. This compostion leads to a flavor experience the blows the doors off any other "sit-down" establishment burger. The use of crispy prosciutto in lieu of bacon provides a salty, fatty, crunch astutely complimenting the melty, butteryness of the marscapone-gorgonzola cheese with a fig jam that rounds out the complex flavors with a perfect pinch of sweetness. Add in Chef David wonderfully seasoned Waygu patty that he and his team cook to a perfect medium temp, and this burger will head straight to the top of your burger list too. Thanks Kim and David for another awesome experience last night, and we will see the Riley's crew again soon!Ps. The fried bologne sandwich is also one that holds a special place in my heart...

Great service, food and vibe. Sunday late lunch, patio dining. Riley’s is much better than the previous format. Want a great burger, this is the spot. En Fuego burger rocks! After ordering food comes out pretty fast and hot. Chicken waffle bites and En Fuego burger in photos. Shout out to Kim M. for stellar service.

Loved the March sunshine on the patio. The Quesa Birria tacos were incredible. Greasy, cheesy, hot, super flavorful and served with chips and salsa. Great beer selection too. I'd give 5 stars but the service was lacking.

We tried Riley's for the first time Saturday night. Kim took great care of us and she had great food recommendations. Our meal was delicious. Everything she recommended was wonderful. She highly recommended their burgers and we also tried the fried chicken sandwich. It was so juicy and the burger was fantastic. The cocktails are really fun. I had the Nutty Professor. Delicious! It also had a dried edible slice of pineapple on top. It r asted like a yummy gummy. Also, their Caesar salad was very fresh with crispy lettuce and the sweet potato fries were off the charts, crispy on the outside, tender in the middle and perfectly seasoned.

We go here. OFTEN! We can walk here from our home so it's super convenient. So today we walked in, waited about 10 minutes for a table for 4 & a dog. The couch table cleared and I let the hostess know we were open to sitting there only to be told a party of 6 arrived after we were on the wait list and she was saving that table for them. EVEN though we arrived before them. I had her remove our name off the list and we promptly walked down the street to another restaurant. We will no longer be customers there. There are tons of dining options in Sutter. Why would I give a business that treats customers the way we were treated today my business? Asked and answered. Mike, the owner responded and I accept your apology and I now fully understand. I wish she had mentioned that to me. That being said we will be back soon and thank you for the prompt reply!

We ordered wings well done they were meaty but slimy not crisp. Very soggy. When mentioned to waitress she just said I told them and did nothing. Italian hoagie no flavor. I'm very disappointed and will not come back.

Decided to give Riley's a try, and so glad we did! The service was great. Kim was our server and she gave us great recommendations and was very attentive. The food was DELICIOUS. We tried the Asada tacos and the Spartan Flatbread. Both were amazing. We will definitely be back!

This was the first time we went and we ordered 12 garlic parm wings, the cheesesteak sandwich and the quesa birria tacos. Our server was amazing she was on top of it with our drinks, got our orders in quick and the food came out quick also....maybe too soon for the chicken wings because we both got sick last night before even making it home and the only thing we shared were the wings. The tacos tasted more cheese than birria it felt like but the flavors were amazing. The location has a nice indoor and outdoor seating area. The heaters outside are a little overwhelming and hot but we scooted to the far end of the table and it seemed to help. Not sure if we will be back or not with the way the chicken wings did us dirty.

Riley's is right on the corner. Parking, we got lucky. Music was perfect! Seating only took a few seconds. We were given menus & informed of the specials right away. Ordered a couple of beverages, Grilled Chicken Tacos and these things called Totchos! They are like Nachos but made with Tater Tots!! You have the option to add a variety of meats to your Totchos. I went with grilled chicken and it was PERFECTION! I'm such a fan!!! We can't wait to go back! The entire staff was very personable. Shout out to Zia , Sabrina , and Anna . Loved all those gals! They are located on the second floor. You can easily access the outer stairs directly from the parking lot. Spacious outdoor puppy friendly patio! Didn't notice if the building had an elevator. Riley's on Sutter ! Thank you for a great outing!!!!!
