They are doing a lot of remodel construction work on the inside, but I must say, it's one of the best projects I've seen, with heavy work, where they have made everything in the store still very accessible, and it doesn't in any way interfere with my shopping trip. I still continue to shop here every few days to at least once a week. The staff are very friendly, and if you use the Safeway app, you save money. They also have a very good pharmacy.

I want to give a big shout-out to Star from the sandwich department at the Safeway in Folsom — she is truly a gem. Always smiling, patient, and makes every sandwich with care like it actually matters. You can feel the pride she takes in her work. The entire staff at this location is consistently kind and helpful, and the pharmacy team deserves praise too — always polite, respectful, and on point. This branch has real old-school customer service, and it shows every single visit. Keep doing what you’re doing, Folsom Safeway. It doesn’t go unnoticed.

Nice setting outside. The inside was too noisy with the blaring music. Very good food. The service was excellent. Waiter knew his stuff

Amazing deli sandwiches... When you can get one. Waited 10+ minutes multiple times this week and was never helped. Tried to find a manager at customer service to see what's going on... Nobody there.

Cody was absolutely the MOST helpful person in Safeway in the last 4 visits. He’s in the BUTCHERY Dept so if you need Meat, Fish or a Nice Guy to talk to, go to this SAFEWAY!!
