The rice has chicken broth and the owners don't understand why it wouldn't be vegan because they "don't use the meat" 😢 wouldn't try trusting this place ever again
First time here I orderd the chili Verde which was so delicious with flavor and big chunks of pork, I highly recommend Salsas great place and friendly plus the kind server came back to check if I needed anything else and asked if I needed more tortillas wow so cool thank you 😀
DO NOT EAT HERE !! You will pay an arm and a leg for your food . Even if they messed up on your order they will not help you or fix the problem. I spent a lot of money here and they would not fix not one problem..it’s a young man on the front and he will go get the lady in the back and she is mean and will tell you she can not help you DO NOT EAT HERE FOOD IS NASTY
Amazing chicken taco salad. Plus they have a salsa bar.
Friendly employees. I had the sopes with chorizo and carnitas. I enjoyed them and will be back 😊
Found a great local spot!
They offer a variety of sauces and sides, and you can enjoy unlimited chips.
The food tasted fresh and clean, and I didn’t feel heavy or tired afterward.
Prices are a bit higher than regular Mexican restaurants, but the quality, flavor, and atmosphere definitely make it worth it.
A full five-star experience!
Full Review:
I discovered a great local Mexican restaurant.
They offer a wide variety of sauces and sides, and you can enjoy unlimited chips along with your meal.
The ingredients tasted fresh, and the overall flavor felt clean and healthy.
Even after eating, I didn’t feel heavy or tired, which made me think they don't rely heavily on artificial seasonings to boost flavor — a nice change from many other places.
The price is a bit higher compared to typical Mexican restaurants,
but considering the lively atmosphere, the wide selection of menu items, the fresh ingredients, and the great taste,
it absolutely deserves a five-star rating.
Got menudo and it looked and tasted old, pretty bland. Also got buche tacos those were pretty good the pineapple water was pretty as well . The tamales weren't too great either. It was a little over priced but the service was good and it was nice place
Place is clean staff is welcoming but food was so bland no flavor whatsoever. We got a steak that lacked even basic salt. We came hungry and left hungry.
Great food and service. Half priced margaritas on Wednesday!
Consistently excellent

The atmosphere is nice, and the employees are welcoming and friendly. Menu is big and easy to read. There are plenty of tables and on a Sunday afternoon, several tables were taken.
The food was good, I had three tacos, shredded chicken, pastor, and carnitas. The pastor had great flavor but was tough to chew, it was not fatty meat, it was either dried out or fried a bit too much. The carnitas was good as well but a little dried out. The flavor profile was great on both. The chicken taco was my favorite, the meat was moist and lightly seasoned. You could taste the flavor coming through but still taste the chicken. I would come here again, but for the money there are better options.
The salsa bar was big with more options than most taquerias. I had a medium and a spicy salsa. The flavors were very good, you could taste the rehydrated peppers in the spicy salsa with a bit of smoke.
Again, not disappointed at all, better than a lot of taquerias, but not my personal favorite.
We ordered shredded chicken enchiladas and carne asada super burrito. The chips, beans, and rice were excellent. Everything was delicious. We will definitely return while passing through Folsom. Thank you!
I ordered the Chimichanga with carnitas, and it was completely soaked in cooking oil. I was wringing this thing out like a wet towel, and it was just pouring out.
The service is great and the salsa bar is delicious as always, but I’d recommend staying away from the chimichanga, it’s just ridiculously oily.
Food is pricey for what they serve
Staff went out of their way to make us welcomed.
Great service and it is obvious they take pride in giving the food its distinctive taste.
There were five of us. Sopes, enchiladas, fajitas de camarón and carne asada were great. And don’t forget to try the watermelon margaritas
