If you don’t care whether you’re drinking actual well made coffee or very expensive sewage water, this is the place to be! I kid you not, I took a sip of my drink and ran to the bathroom because I felt sick! If you have any standard for coffee, run!!
Love this place! Great coffee

What a great find!! I love the menu and the creative drinks! I got a classic drink (I think tisora, it's featured on the top left of the drinks) and it's exactly how i like my coffee. But that doesn't mean I'm not excited to try some others I saw on the menu!

I ordered a mocha and it was so salty that I had to toss it. My husband as well. I don't know why they would be salty, but it was a waste of $7.

Stopped by Sociology Coffee Bar while in Folsom and it was a great find. The place has a really cozy vibe with plenty of natural light and a calm atmosphere that makes it easy to relax or catch up with a friend. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
I tried their latte and a pastry, and both were solid. The coffee had good flavor, though I wish it had a little more punch. The pastry was fresh and paired perfectly with the drink.
The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it was a bit crowded when I went, and the seating felt a little limited. Still, it’s definitely a spot I’d come back to next time I’m in town.

Been here a few times, coffee is good and different. However, I did receive moldy feta is seems. I took a photo of it but afterwards I took a closer look and all of it was moldy on one taco and a few chucks on the other.
We went twice in one day. Espresso tonic is 🔥! Matcha cookies are amaze

Nice little spot to stop after a bike ride or walk. Very pricey.
This place is the absolute best. Best coffee, best staff, delicious food from the kitchen, and delectable baked goods. I truly is where “the vibes never die.” And this holds true for both locations! Folsom and Placerville.

First and last time coming here. The redhead and dirty blonde working need to seriously check their customer service. I ordered a matcha drink and specifically asked for it not too sweet. What I got was ridiculously sweet and not good at all. I explained that I was hoping for a remake with less sweetness (since I’m DIABETIC), but was told flat out “no” that it was my fault for trying their drink.
When I spoke to the manager, she was just as unpleasant and dismissive. They eventually remade the drink, but the brunette who handed it to me slammed it down and rudely said, “here you go.” Completely unprofessional.
This place clearly doesn’t listen, doesn’t take accountability, and has zero respect for customers. There are plenty of better places that provide great drinks and treat people right. Customer service here is an absolute ZERO.
And if management decides to try to rebuttal this review, it will only prove the point further about how they handle customer concerns.

Excellent coffee food and service. The music is absolutely terrible. Turn it down and mellow it out. Who the hell wants to listen to blasting rap music in the morning? Seriously that’s why most people go outside.
